I’ve just gone onto the Roka website from a link they sent me and it looks like I’m being sent a Camden P back pack in black. Not exciting, but functional. However, the account shows I owe £34.95. I suspect it’s their way of accounting rather than me owing more money. And no, I didn’t accidentally order the backpack as well; it’s not even showing as an option.

I just ordered and my Shop app says I’m receiving the Portobello Tote in khaki which looks a bit boring - was hoping for a backpack

I wasn’t given free delivery. I thought it was included?

It says: FREE UK Standard Delivery over £50.

I'm still contemplating as what I really want is the Bayswater with the umbrella pocket and wondering if it might be better to wait and see if people get these and then put them on the resale sales. If they don't then unlikely that they were included in the dip this time around, despite them being listed as a potential.

Looks like mine’s a grey Canfield. I’d be up for swapping if I do get that and someone has something more colourful they’d like to exchange.

I didn't think they were going to do this again. I'm sure it was earlier in Jan last year. Going to try and resist. I bought a lovely medium Finchley in the sale for just under £30 shipped free with an extra voucher so I really don't need more.

I also seem to be getting a Firecracker Canfield and a Midnight Moorgate. Happy with the Moorgate but I have already sold a Canfield in a salmony pinky colour a couple of years ago as it didn't go with anything. And I got a black Canfield in the door last year. Quite disappointed!

I didn’t need a new bag. Already bought two for myself in the sale. Obviously I’ve gone for one of each 🤦‍♀️ It’s the FOMO like @MattDillonsEyebrows says.

My shop app says Chelsea in cranberry and medium Canfield in graphite but doesn’t say what the Lucky treasure will be. Be interesting to see if that is actually what turns up.

ETA: Portobello tote in khaki has just appeared in my list.

I definitely not doing this. Have done it twice as I'm easily led. One year I got a boring grey backpack. Tried again the next year, got the same style in a boring black 😄. Watching to see what everyone else gets.

I’ve emailed them to let them know about the SHOP site just in case it’s a glitch.

I have said I’m more than happy with the bags but one of the best things about the lucky dip is the element of surprise: also added that whilst i am happy, if they could add an element of surprise with a colour change (or a Heathrow duffel!) that would also be ace!

Ive impulse bought this as a result of this thread! I got a Canfield rolltop in graphite ( which I presume is grey/black) a bit boring if thats what it is but fine as I need a new work laptop bag.

Bloody hell...Ive not long bought two bags half price in the sale 🙄Might just have a look tho....

I think you’re all really cheeky putting in requests. If you want something specific then pay for it.

I've now looked in shop and I have a canfield in retro blue nylon and a finchley in frost. both medium and neither any good to me in terms of colour or backpackishness. I've emailed asking to either reselect or cancel.

They list what the lucky dip in each category might be. I send a nice email saying I love Rokas but have backpacks and Paddingtons, so although I'm sure I'll like whatever turns up, if it's no trouble and they have these styles I'd be grateful.

I've already paid, they can ignore it if they like but if no skin off their nose they get an extra happy customer and less chance of a return.

If you see a problem, fine, don't email.

@Barnabyted - last year ROKA did seem to send things out in batches - e.g. lots of people got small Bantry bags at the same time, then it was all about the Trafalgar totes for a few days, but that can’t be relied on. (I suspect each packer just works their way through a box of the same style, then moves on to the next- however long that takes.)

I’d be quite happy with a Canfield roll top, although I ended up with lots of ROKA bags last time so shouldn’t join in this time!

I might be tempted to do a £9.95 order- as long as they have stopped stocking those dreadful cotton(?) gloves - the ones I got last year were full of holes and faults and wouldn’t fit anyone’s fingers, (and I tried them on lots of people!) Tbf, ROKA CS were brilliant when I showed them the pics, but I wouldn’t want to risk getting them again.

Just had a look on the web- nice, clear info on what is available and no gloves in sight for the £9.95 option!

In my experience (tried once) the parcel was despatched before they even got to my email.

Roka Customer Services have responded in just under 20 minutes with a 'no' to reselection, but a no quibble cancellation. Top marks for how helpful they've been and I shall just stalk the glut of bags that turn up in vinted/ebay looking for one that suits me better. :-)

Just been shown the link to this thread. A bit disappointed as can now see it's saying I am getting a Portobello in light denim, was hoping for a Canfield! This is why I normally avoid surprise things but had FOMO this time.
