As per title, DD has been wearing crop tops & think she needs something a bit more though crop tops are ok. Using BoB she measures 32G & I can’t find anything other than Doreen triumph.

can anyone recommend somewhere to order from or should we stick to crop tops or get some wired bras?

any advice appreciated! many thanks

are you sure she’s a G?! If so she defo needs more support but it’ll be very difficult to find such a large cup in small band width and you might need a specialist shop

Lougle · 09/01/2026 19:41

Bravissimo has lots of 32G. To be a 32 band, she'd be a dress size 12...is that right?

pennepicanto · 09/01/2026 19:44

I'd definitely try and get her to a specialist fitter, your better getting it right from the off and hopefully avoid ill fitting bras causing back ache. Do you have any local independent bra shops near you? I find they give a better fitting service than the likes of M&S and John Lewis

Sassylovesbooks · 09/01/2026 19:45

Brastop or Braforme online stock lots of different brands that cater for a larger bust size. I'm a 32FF, and have Flirtelle brand (from Brastop) and Pour Moi (they have their own website). Bravissimo is another web site you can check too (they do have shops but not many). Next stock 32G size as would M&S.

buckeejit · 09/01/2026 19:57

Thanks all - she would be about a size 12 - she’s mature for her age. Will have a look at those sites & see if i
can find a Decent shop in NI - sadly bravissimo closed here.

general consensus seems to be better to go for wired then?

Definitely wired. At her age I really like Freya bras, can you find somewhere that stocks them? They offer good support whilst looking modern. I'd also order a 30GGif shopping online, as we often overestimate the underband and underestimate cup size. Even if you can't order from Bravissimo their website has good videos on how to check your fit.

Book in with M&S bra fitting service, they have a lovely range of non wired crop top bras really soft and comfortable perfect for a tween

You can buy bravissimo bras on ebay, also M&S have an outlet range on there for this size

Aluna · 09/01/2026 20:26

Try Bravissimo online and also Ample Bosom.

I would try to find her non-wired as well as wired as wired can be uncomfortable.

Amsylou · 09/01/2026 20:27

I find the BoB site misleading and find it’s sometimes better to adjust the band up one or two sizes and the cup down one or two (so it’s a sister cup). I was told I’m a 28E but I find a 32C most comfortable. I’m probably getting less wear from it as the band isn’t tight but then i felt too restricted in a 28 band. Worth considering looking at a 34F and a 36E for her or getting measured at M&S.

Blueuggboots · 09/01/2026 20:27

Please do NOT go to M&S!!! Their measuring style is terrible.

FunMustard · 09/01/2026 20:28

M&S bra fitting is shit.

I have two of these bras from Feelingirl - I was seeing them all over Tiktok, and wanted a non-wired option for working from home days. I am a 34HH, extremely saggy, and find these great. Really comfy, easy to wash, and as I have a short body I find the adjustable straps really helpful. I got a size M.

If you can, order a bunch from Bravissimo online (if they deliver to you - apols I'm not sure from the website) and send back as many as you need to. But get a couple of the soft ones too, they might be just the thing, but even if not she can use them under pjs or whatever.

WinterGardening · 09/01/2026 20:28

A G?! She definitely needs a proper bra. It doesn't have to be underwired. But she needs support.

ScratchedSkirtings · 09/01/2026 20:39

It might be worth looking at Molke, more crop-top like but with tons of support. Inflicting bra wires on a tween seems harsh- although backache is harsher, so needs must!

Sorry just quoting myself here as I neglected to mention those Feelingirl bras are supportive and give a nice shape too. I've ordered from that website I linked to as well, it's completely legit, although you can order through Tiktok as well. What I like about them better than other soft bras is that the band isn't like a normal bra band, they're a lot more comfortable.

This shop in Angel Islington, London is a hidden treasure. Although you’re in NI I’m suggesting it as they do online fittings.

I’ve a lot of experience in small back larger cup bras and fittings-Rigby and Peller and Bravissimo included. The fitters The Pantry are the best by miles. They have amazing knowledge of their stock, are brilliant with people, and know exactly what styles in what sizes to go for. They are magic genius. They fitted my teens and I wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Teen was distraught when other London shops couldn’t find anything that fit her. Went into The Pantry and could have bought 8 (got three), and all at a reasonable price. Three decent bras for £100 is good in my book

edited to add-please don’t get fitted at M&S, their fittings are terrible and the bras are poor quality.

For d + bras I recommend brastop if you can order from there. It's worth looking at sister sizing if your not 100% on the size but if she's a size 12 then a 32 band would be about right. Big cups don't always mean gigantic boobs. That wire needs to be flat on your chest and fit all the way to under the arm pit

Lifejigsaw · 09/01/2026 21:01

A G as a tween is nuts. I’m a 32G and it’s not a small size on any frame. No idea how she’s even fitting into crop tops let alone wearing them day to day.

user2848502016 · 09/01/2026 21:02

Have a look at Molke, maybe nicer styles for a tween

Cosleepingadvice · 09/01/2026 21:06

Have a look at shapermint bras. I was a FF after breastfeeding but found wired bras really uncomfortable. These ones are moulded but not wired? Very supportive. You need to check the size guide though as they use their own sizing.

Matildahoney · 09/01/2026 21:10

I think bravissimo do a teams type video call appointment

Jojobees · 09/01/2026 21:14

How is she managing in crop tops? What size is she wearing? I am a 32g and I have by most standards a large bust, are you sure?

Clarabell77 · 09/01/2026 21:19

if she’s wearing crop tops and you’re just thinking she needs a bit more I’m really doubting the G cup.
