As per title, DD has been wearing crop tops & think she needs something a bit more though crop tops are ok. Using BoB she measures 32G & I can’t find anything other than Doreen triumph.

can anyone recommend somewhere to order from or should we stick to crop tops or get some wired bras?

any advice appreciated! many thanks

M&S Flexifit non-wired full cup bra (F-H) comes in a 32G. No, I don’t recommend their fitting service but as an H or G cup myself, I find these very comfortable to wear. Worth taking a look as they are pretty plain.

Cyclistmumgrandma · 11/01/2026 08:16

Forgot to add, the M&S bra is not prohibitively expensive unlike many specialist brands for larger cups.

Ineffable23 · 11/01/2026 08:24

I have relatively large boobs and cannot be doing with full on bras. I get on well with these bralettes:

https://www.savagex.co.uk/products/SEAMLESS-BRALETTE-BB2357478-0687?psrc=browsebrasbralettes-cio

The website as a whole is full of stuff that's not tween appropriate and you have to do the "sign up for a subscription and immediately cancel" thing, but they're wearing well and are comfy.

Controversial answer here from someone who’s a 32H.

Take her somewhere to get her fitted properly Bravissimo are good, if you can afford it Rigby and Peller are amazingly helpful. Even if it’s just to get her sized from there and then buy from somewhere else.

But here’s my controversial bit. If she hates the underwire, just cut it out. Make a small snip at the top of where the wire is, feed it through and throw it. I do it with all my bras and they are so much more comfortable. Still supportive but way less painful to wear with very heavy boobs.

I had no idea you could do this! Will try with old bra.

These are sports bras designed for teens (they do school workshops) and fitted in the same way as Bravissimo - my teen dd says hers is by far the most comfortable bra she owns, and loves how adjustable it is for different looks and feels. They are pricey but I haven’t seen anything else that’s so tween/early teen suitable in terms of design in this range of sizes (they go down to a 22 back and up to a GG cup!).

Boux Avenue is great for teens with bigger cup sizes. High Street, reasonable cost, designs suitable for age and do have 30 and 32 in G and H. They do fitting too . Larger cups in m and s really freaked my daughter out as the designs are very much for older women

There's loads of bra choice for 32G. M&S stock the size now, it's not the rarity that it once was. You can search by size for stock.

Look at the flexifit/body range in the bigger cups. Non-wired but very supportive and comfortable.

SaveMeFromMyBoobs · 11/01/2026 08:51

If she likes crop tops and not so keen on wires, try molke? They're very supportive.

BringBackCatsEyes · 11/01/2026 08:52

Tween is between 9 and 12. She’s very young to be a G cup.

JanglingJessica · 11/01/2026 08:54

I'm a similar size. I don't like lace, pretty bits, or fussy bits on my underwear. I have sensory issues and cannot wear underwires - even non wired bras can be nasty for me! I've ripped the wires out of a bra halfway through the day before when Bravissimo tricked me into trying one...

I get my bras from Primark, I believe you have Primark in NI? Usually I wear their adult crop tops, but for special occasions or very fitted clothes will wear a non wired bra from there. They do some in cup sizes and some in S/M/L. It's also cheap, so it doesn't matter if they need binning for being too uncomfortable when not used to constraining.

I'm mid 30s, did 4 years of breastfeeding and they're plenty supportive enough to give me a good shape; bound to be fine for someone younger and firmer!

Genetics are genetics. My first bra before I started secondary school was a C, I was measured by M&S as a 28F at 14 (the biggest cup size they did back then) and it was way too small on the cups. By 18 I was a 32J (bravissimo discovered by that point!).

Sesma · 11/01/2026 08:59

I would just try on a selection of various styles in M&S, you don't have to be fitted, I just take a selection in the fitting room and try them on

LupinLou · 11/01/2026 09:04

I went straight into a 32F after wearing crop tops as a teen. I really didn't want to wear a bra, especially not in the ones that would fit me so put it off as long as possible.

At that age, even at that size you don't need masses of support.

I almost exclusively wear bralettes from Bravissimo now, although the ones I like look to have been discontinued so on the hunt for replacements.

AxolotlEars · 11/01/2026 09:12

I agree with avoiding M and S.

I use Bravissimo. Their support on the website is good

MildlyAnnoyed · 11/01/2026 09:13

Brastop have a good website with lots of different brands & sizes.

ThisHazelPombear · 11/01/2026 09:23

Not all underwires hurt, I wear Freya and the wires are positioned differently so some styles are vertical at the armpit and they hurt me but the wider cut ones that extend backwards are very comfy.

I wear a 28D so flat chested really. M&S measured me as 34AA 🤦🏻‍♀️ which is why I spent years with my bra straps slipping off my shoulders they are such a shit shop.

Branleuse · 11/01/2026 09:49

You can even get 32g in supermarkets and primark now, so I'm surprised you can't find more than doreen triumphs! Not a huge selection, but it's better than it was.
Try marks and Spencer since you already know the size range to try ( terrible fitting service reputation) or Google where your nearest bravissimo is.

The Bob size is your starting point BTW. Different bras do fit very differently unfortunately. Try 34f too or 34ff. I always have to try the bras in the sizes around mine too.
Small backs with bigger cups can be tricky, because there's not as much squish in the ribcage for tight bands.

Tbf though, there's nothing wrong with sticking with crop tops, but maybe getting a more supportive one, such as a pull-on sports bra?
I'm a similar size and I often wear those.

Aluna · 11/01/2026 09:53

I have a really good underwired M&S bra - so good I have it in different colours. Probably one of the best fitting underwired I have. So I wouldn’t be snobby about M&S bras.

Branleuse · 11/01/2026 09:57

Idk why people say avoid M&S. Their bras are great.

They have a terrible reputation for being fitted, but if you know your size and try them on first for fit, which you kind of have to do anyway, they are good quality and really good selection.

satsumas26 · 11/01/2026 10:11

Wear a G cup myself and this since also since 12-13 : it’s just genetics

Try Freya or Panache (which are sold at John Lewis and M&S). They are not cheap but last very well - wash every few wears not every day

M&S wired sports bras also excellent for activity

I also like Fantasie - many of their styles are older but they do have some simple/plain cup bras which would be appropriate

32 band is very large for a child. It equates to an adult size 12. My DD just went up to 32G at the very end of her pregnancy and she’s normally a size 8.

Dutchhouse14 · 11/01/2026 11:25

My daughter is similar size.
Hates her boobs.
Honestly she needs proper support and a professional bra fitting.
We went to both a local department store and Rigby and peller.
Botjh ladies doing the fittings were great they actually just glanced at her ,with current bra on and at one point one lady said if you are comfortable showing me without your bra on that would be helpful but it was literally a 2 second glimpse and a nod!
Anyway they both came up woth same size and some bra options although the department store didnt have a lot in her size but there were a cpuple of nice ones fantasie ,freya and alively one from rigby snd peller but cost £115😩
But for a young girl struggling with large boobs its worth doing ot properly. For both support and confidence.
They both said underwired was best and gave tips on what to look for when fitting/trying on.
