As per title, DD has been wearing crop tops & think she needs something a bit more though crop tops are ok. Using BoB she measures 32G & I can’t find anything other than Doreen triumph.

can anyone recommend somewhere to order from or should we stick to crop tops or get some wired bras?

any advice appreciated! many thanks

Someone suggesting Agent Provocateur for a tween with 32G breasts?

I’m getting a word…

Reported.

Catdrama2 · 09/01/2026 21:57

Brastop.com is good for larger cups.

2025mustbebetter · 09/01/2026 22:02

My daughter was similar and had now settled at 32JJ/K I can only get bras fitted at bravissimo. It's expensive but worth it for her comfort. Usually we get one or two she likes then order more when there's discounts online.

MadeinBelfast · 09/01/2026 22:03

I think Bravissimo has the best range, you could give them a call. If you're near Belfast you could try Orchid Lingerie on the Lisburn Road. They might be able to give you size advice. I absolutely wouldn't go to M&S for a fitting.

I agree, whoever suggested Agent Provocateur AND Coco De Mer for a tween….. highly inappropriate and actually a bit grim.

A G as a tween is nuts. I’m a 32G and it’s not a small size on any frame. No idea how she’s even fitting into crop tops let alone wearing them day to day.

At 12 I was 5ft 8 and not measured properly but probably an FF at least

I doubt anyone is disputing that a 12 yr old can measure a large size, however to suddenly do so when previously unsupported may be somewhat less common

thanks all - I’ve bought a few to try & 32G Sainsbury’s seems a decent fit although I feel it’s a bit high in the armpits, the cups are good. I told her some time ago that we need to get a proper bra but she’s been putting me off.

I’m HH usually myself so it’s no surprise that she’s well developed. Definitely won’t get fitted at M&S & definitely won’t be getting anything sexy for her. It is just difficult to find larger sizes in plain bras.

will look at the others & may try Lisburn road shop. I think if she finds a brand & model that fits well it should be easy to get a few of those. We’ll be with on laws near Leeds so may use that as an opportunity to go to bravissimo - she’d never agree to a teams call but think it’s great that they do them!

Do boob or bust she can read the instructions and do it herself in her room just get her a soft/fabric tape measure.

Too high in the armpits could indicate the shoulder straps need to be let out, or the cupsize is too small or the band too tight.

Lazychains · 10/01/2026 18:23

How exactly has she managed without support until now?

Comefromaway · 10/01/2026 18:27

Agree with M & S. I only wanted shapewear & they refused to help me as I told them I needed 32 or 34 DD/E (Rigby & Peller & Bravissimo fitted me as 32 DD & that I needed at least a 36 band.

StatisticallyChallenged · 10/01/2026 18:32

I have a teen who is a similar size (and has been since fairly young too)

The BoB method is pretty good and generally puts you in the territory of a proper Bravissimo-esque fitting. My experience with this kind of age group is that BoB sometimes gives a slightly too big cup size; they'll often have the overall projection of a bigger size but the breasts can be narrower/shallower so whilst the widest point measurement is the same there's sometimes less breast tissue overall if that makes sense.

Freya is the best we've found for younger, panache sometimes have some nice things. My DD generally preferred those in the Freya Deco kind of line - they have moulded, t shirt esque bras which don't look like over the shoulder boulder holders. I'd suggest ordering one of those in a few sizes around what she measures and see what looks and feels best.

DancingNotDrowning · 10/01/2026 18:33

Bras seem to be much less popular among teen girls and young adult women. DD14 measures a 30F and prefers crop tops for daily wear and sports bras when she’s active.

as always M&S gets a lot of hate for bras but they actually have a great range for bigger busts that suit a tween/teen (sportier designs, bright colours but definitely not sexy lingerie, non wired)

you don’t need to be fitted there. Just take a selection and see what fits well.

The centre needs to lay flat on the breast bone

The band of the bra should be straight and level

The straps should stay in place without digging or falling.

Your breasts should fill the cups without over-spilling.

Underwire needs to surround each breast, without pinching.

MrLarsonsNailGun · 10/01/2026 19:10

I self measured at home very recently as have lost weight and discovered this is now my size too!

Took myself off to M&S and tried on several styles in 32G, all fitted well and tried a 34 band size and different cup sizes to make sure.

OperationalSupport · 10/01/2026 19:19

I like Freya Bras too, get one fitted professionally so you know the size then look on ebay- there’s a couple of shops selling via there that often have some on discount. And if she’s pale skinned then a pale-medium pink will be more invisible under school shirts than white or ‘nude’ ones.

HarvestMouseandGoldenCups · 10/01/2026 20:00

Amsylou · 09/01/2026 20:27

I find the BoB site misleading and find it’s sometimes better to adjust the band up one or two sizes and the cup down one or two (so it’s a sister cup). I was told I’m a 28E but I find a 32C most comfortable. I’m probably getting less wear from it as the band isn’t tight but then i felt too restricted in a 28 band. Worth considering looking at a 34F and a 36E for her or getting measured at M&S.

Same, it told me 28DD but I find a 30D far better or even the 32C. 28 might be more ‘supportive’ but I’d rather not feel constricted or sweaty.

redwinecheeseandothersnacks · 10/01/2026 20:40

I still don't understand how a tween who was happily not wearing a bra is now suddenly 32G. I developed early, was tiny with large breasts. However 32C as a tween felt large. I was 32G after my first pregnancy. Some good suggestions on here but so many 'older' styles - I've worn them all over the years but not as a tween - poor girl.

MoreHairyThanScary · 10/01/2026 21:27

Dd is 30 E we just got some teen appropriate bras on bra stop

ThisMustBeMyDream · 10/01/2026 21:42

Most of you who think a G cup is large can't be using BoB sizing. G with a 32 band isn't particularly large.

Very1 · 10/01/2026 21:43

Controversial answer here from someone who’s a 32H.

Take her somewhere to get her fitted properly Bravissimo are good, if you can afford it Rigby and Peller are amazingly helpful. Even if it’s just to get her sized from there and then buy from somewhere else.

But here’s my controversial bit. If she hates the underwire, just cut it out. Make a small snip at the top of where the wire is, feed it through and throw it. I do it with all my bras and they are so much more comfortable. Still supportive but way less painful to wear with very heavy boobs.

LadyBundleBrent · 10/01/2026 22:00

I am in NI and recommend Orchid Lingerie on the Lisburn Rd - think there could be one in Dungannon too. As per above poster, I find boob or bust a size too small in the band, and a size too big in the cup - instinct confirmed by wonderful, knowledgeable bra fitters in this independent shop. Highly recommend!

Hotchocolateandmarsh · 10/01/2026 22:11

Curvy Kate does larger sizes and I found out about them from thebigtittiecommitee on Instagram. It’s ran by a lovely lady who talk about bras fitting right, what is normal / not normal and body image. She’s good at recommending different companies for larger busts

Catdrama2 · 11/01/2026 07:42

Would she even want to be fitted? I would have hated that (as would my DD) hence why boob or bust website is amazing and empowering.
