Didn't get laundry detergent from it, more a creamy citrus. There'll be more detailed reviews on somewhere like fragrantica. That's my go to when trying to find out what a scent is like.

SOTD Sana Jardin Berber Blonde. Sprayed very early at about 6am, quite strong then. Basically a skin scent now. I do like it but not special to me.

SOTD nothing today but I ended up sampling a few in Space NK as I was passing. Still looking for the perfect pine/green/woody sauna scent, and I haven’t found it yet. Tried Orpheon and Lush Fresh As, but neither are quite right.

She's doing really well thank you. A lot better then expected. Because we managed to get her to the emergency vets last Saturday so quickly, and they were able to put her leg back in place (dislocated hip), she didn't need to have the emergency surgery as the muscles around have contracted and are now holding the leg in place. She needs to rest for another 6 weeks and has medication to try to keep her calm, but we need to try to stop her from jumping, going up stairs etc. If it pops out, we might still need emergency surgery but so far so good 😁

I actually was at the vets when the Harrods elemis ac was mentioned, and then bought it when we'd received the good news 🥰 I think I felt that I now have the op money to spend on me 🙈🤣

Pdm oriana today. Lovely scent for a cold day. Sweet and warm and a bit creamy.

May try the Palatine later as I continue the pdm journey.

Doh! I somehow missed that a new thread was started. Was wondering where everyone had gone.

Since the new year I've continued to wear Brompton Immortals, Delina and Mojave Ghost. I did wear Ambre Vanille and JM Sea Salt on a couple of days. I definitely have faves I'm compelled to reach for at the moment.

I meant to sort out my perfumes during my week off and I still haven't done it and now it's back to work tomorrow. I need a system because I forget what travel sizes I have when they're in vanity bags. My aim is choose 8-10 for the month and just have those on display then swap the following month. Will I actually do it though?

Today’s just been le labo eucalyptus again. I love it. It’s uplifting but also grounding at the same time. The scent of a luxurious spa. I’m pleased it was in one of the advents this year so theres been loads being sold on vinted. Leans a bit masculine maybe for some people. I only have 1 15ml but I’ve just snapped up another one at a bargainous price so I’m very happy with that. They are £75 for 15ml full price which is very steep.

Yesterday I tried Fugazzi Passionfroudh. It's strong stuff and I might have oversprayed because I found it slightly nauseating with the fruit and oud combination. I might try it again sometime but will spray very lightly.

I don't have Crivelli Maracujá to compare.

Valaya exclusif again today. Decided to keep the 10ml valaya from the calendar and list the Palatine instead, apparently it smells like byredo la tulipe which i have a sample of and don't hate but dont love.
Ive managed to shift the big delina+ 2 little delinas.

G&B Sunset Hour today. Not the best longevity but the sort of scent that reminds me that spring/summer won't be too far away. I'm not feeling January at all, worst month of the year.

We must have similar tastes as I rate most of those. Haven't tried JM sea salt.

Tbh I don't rate JM Sea Salt, it's fine but Ginger Biscuit is only one I've tried I really like from JM. I just chose it at random yesterday to stop myself putting Brompton on yet again.

I had mixed feelings about that one. I should have loved it from the notes and I didn't hate it, but it wasn't in love territory. Its fascinating to me how differently people can react to the same thing!

Do you like the myrrh and tonka from the Harrods calendar? There's not many JM fragrances I like, but luckily I like that one. I also like the velvet rose and oud 😍 in fact, I might go spray that one now...

I have a sizeable stash of unopened perfumes and other beauty products that is basically a savings account in perfume/ beauty form, probably comes from when I was unemployed last year and sold things on the side to make my money last a bit longer. So if you can sell your stash, not such a bad idea.

I didn't mind it but DS took it. He liked it more.

Yes, I probably do have quite a lot that I could sell if need be. A lot from the recent Harrods purchases 🤣
