Sounds lovely @EvelynBeatrice I love an orange scent.
I hope your appointment goes ok 🥰

Fleecy · 19/02/2026 10:51

@MotherWol I've been impressed by their range of brands, including some more niche ones. I am curious about Who is Elijah? Jarrolds have been stocking them for a while and I know there isn't much love for their fragrances on here, but I've seen them popping up in other edits more recently and would be curious to try more.

Would love to know what you think of Tea Ceremony as well. I've not tried it yet.

SavageGarden23 · 19/02/2026 11:30

I totally forgot that I bought some 10mls from spacenk to try out for my birthday, found them in my hidden candle stash. Trying Sana Jardin Jaipur Chant and its lovely jasmine/tuberose cloud... can't wait for spring to wear it properly. I almost bought Monotheme Tuberose gift set the other day, glad I didn't as it would be flowery overkill.

Mackemlass79 · 19/02/2026 11:58

SOTD for me is Kilian cant stop loving you. This is one of my favourites and rolling in love was my wedding perfume i seem to like and really get on with the kilian brand even if some of the scents do have silly names

Ive listed a sealed perfume on vinted. Sealed. Checks in progress, over an hour ago. Is this usual x

It can take a while @Doglover73 - I've had a couple of items hidden for checking for over 24 hours before.

I normally delete and re-add if it takes longer then 15 mins. It must not like something you've said on it. I once got told off for listing counterfeit goods, it was a Wallis jumper 🙄 I've never heard of fake Wallis stuff.

JoRaRaRa · 19/02/2026 14:35

Someone mentioned Chloe earlier so I went to find my Chloe Le Parfum. I kept using this when I only had a sample, I've not touched it since I received the 10ml 🤣 typical behaviour from a shopaholic 🙈

Yes, if you click on your listing, then click in the top right corner, there should be the option to delete 😊

Doglover73 · 19/02/2026 14:48

The 3 little dots aren't there. I think its a glitch as shows then doesn't.

I thought at first I was having a meno moment and thought id listed it but hadn't. Then came across it. 😂

I saw that, tempted by the safran secret but not sure i want to spend 175!

Hi perfume ladies! Does anyone fancy giving me some recommendations based on my faves? My top 3 that I decided to go for full bottles on:
Jo Malone- wood sage and sea salt. I adore this and just wish it last longer.
diptyque- l’eau papier: the cosiest, most comforting scent ever.
diptyque- Orpheon. I find something about this so captivating and sexy.
I don’t think I’m a big fan of overly gourmand or very sweet fragrances. I think I like woody/ fresh.
fragrances I’ve bought samples of and really enjoyed, but not enough to pull the trigger on full size: Byredo: bal d’afrique/mojave ghost.

MotherWol · 19/02/2026 18:31

Managed to sample quite a few fragrances today in Norwich, despite being pushed for time and with children underfoot. Jarrolds had relatively few indie/niche brands, maybe they’re online only. Impressions:

Molton Brown tea ceremony is very fresh, the pear comes through nicely; I don’t really detect much matcha or tea. Very springlike, not for me, but a good example of a freshie.

Jo Malone Hinoki and Cypress: I was hoping this would satisfy my desire to smell like a Japanese spa, but on me it just comes off like posh Badedas, and DH hates it. Next on the list to try is Le Labo Eucalyptus 20.

Diptyque Orpheon EDT: this feels distinctly different from the EDP, really citrus-forward with the yuzu, but retaining the posh hotel soap cleanness of the original. I liked it but not as much as the EDP.

I’d been all set to buy a travel size of something today, and it’s a bit disappointing to come away empty handed, but that’s probably more to do with how unrelaxing it is to try and browse in half term!

Ive never had a problem even after a long check process, vinted has no rhyme or reason...

Jardim Real by Granada today. Not found a perfume of theirs that I dislike. This one isn’t my favourite but good for another moochy half term day.

IDontHateRainbows · 20/02/2026 09:04

Going home today and I have missed my regular spritzing! Absence makes the heart grow fonder! Probably good for my skin to have a break ( been staying perfume allergic friend).
I'll have the flannels cracker + jarrolds tea beauty box arriving soon hopefully today. Have also ordered Molton Brown tobacco which im looking forward to.

Sorely tempted by the HOF fragrance deal, but the pdm i bought to half sell on aren't shifting. Compulsive brain is saying to get a discovery set and sell on. I may still get the initio one. Then I get the perfume gwp. I love the safran secret although this strong.

My SOTD is Loubirouge, a lovely vanilla-iris-cardamom combo. I ration this one because I only have a 9ml dab bottle and it’s not very strong, but I’m going out for afternoon tea today, so I thought I’d treat myself on the fragrance front too!

@Thomasthe it sounds like you have great taste and have already got some classics! Have you tried Ex Nihilo Blue Talisman? That’s one of my favourite fresh, woody scents. I think the Extrait version is the best. (Maybe not for the wallet though!)

Maddyandme · 20/02/2026 11:49

@Thomasthe I’ve thought of some more recommendations:

Ex Nihilo Santal Calling - woody & powdery (like Orpheon) but with iris, musk & sandalwood

Vilhelm Dear Polly - notes of bergamot, apple, tea, oakmoss, amber & musk

PDM Valaya - musky, floral, fresh & woody

Pomelo and Jo by Jo Loves - both very fresh, woody citrus scents. I enjoy them in summer.

Wild card: Miller Harris Poirier D’Un Soir - pear, cedarwood & rum. I love this one, but it won’t be for everyone!

Maddyandme · 20/02/2026 11:59

Oh, and Penhaligon’s Empressa! :-)
(I’ll stop now!)
