SOTD another one from my full bottle oldies I'm trying to get used up but it is actually a favourite of mine armani diamonds very distinctive i feel but that is probably because it's dated now and been worn to death by people over the years but I still enjoy it so I shall continue on until its empty

SOTD is Ds & Durga, I don't know what. It's almost disappeared entirely, so doesn't seem to have very good longevity. I've just read on Fragrantica that it's a perfume enhancer, so I'm guessing I should have layered it? Any tips as to what would combine well?

I fancied a bit of FDB rude oud tonight. I haven't worn it since Christmas but I was really craving something intense and powerful. You only need the tiniest amount because it’s strong, but worn lightly it’s just pure luxury 😍 I know it's not everyone’s cup of tea, but I honestly love this one 💚

Abel laundry day. Nothing at all like what I was expecting . I was expecting a blanche-a-like with a hint of lemon..this is lemony but with tropical notes. Nice.

Ordered the le labo set from CB with 20% off. It has the the noir, the match, another 13 and bergamot.

This one will be a bday present to myself. May keep the 2 thes and list the others.

Never got into le labo before

Phlur vanilla skin which I got as part of an ebay deal someone was selling the SNK frag cal for £70 (!) and had taken out the M+G strawberry and replaced with this. Amazing value and I'll do my usual trick of selling them off separately to make more than £70 back.
This is ok, it's quite a bland vanilla, reminiscent of something you may find in the body shop c. 1990 and probably nothing I'd write home about. Generic appeal. I don't hate it, I don't love it. Meh.

I know a few people have issues with Debenhams CS and returns but if you're willing to risk it they have a Valentines edit for £30

Code BEAUTY5 takes it down to £28.50 but using PayPal it doesn't stack with FREEDEL - even though it looks like it does until you get to the payment screen. So it's cheaper to use the FREEDEL code than save £1.50 with the BEAUTY5 code.

I don't know if the codes stack using a different payment menthod but given their somewhat ropey CS reputation using PayPal at least may offer some protection.

I've worn Roberto Cavalli Serpentine today, Escentual has had the gift set reduced to £38 and I have a £5 voucher to use by the end of Feb, but I don't know if I like it enough for a full bottle and it's now gone up to £41. Decisions decisions! I've just bought the debenhams valentine set, but I'm determined to have as low buy as poss for Feb 🤔 Maybe I should just let the £5 expire.

Le Labo The Noir. I'm trying to like it but it's not really doing it for me. It's a strong, masculine scent. Not sweet at all, bitter even. I usually love tea notes but this is a bit too stong and dark and not really anything like a tea I've ever had. It's not unpleasant and I'm trying to explore it as an 'olfactory experience'. But do I like it? Not sure I do.

Getting excited about my Ds and Durga experience on Tuesday. I have the amber kiso and Durga from the set still to try but will wait it out for my birthday on Tuesday now.

Morning ladies I thought everyone had disappeared seemed so quiet on here but my phone just wasnt showing me notifications from the thread no idea how I managed that. SOTD is les sables roses - Louis Vuitton an absolute gorgeous scent for any rose fan like myself however this one is very deep and quite heavy as its oud based so very much a cold weather rose. Do any of u ladies have any vanilla recommendations please? I have never to this point liked vanilla as a scent but as im getting older im wanting to try again with it as my tastes are very much changing

Sotd yesterday was jo malone lim, basil and mandarin. I had a compliment on it saying it was lovely. Had only been sprayed an hour before but I couldn't smell it. 🥰

I already saw that and had lusted after it but I'm not buying anything now until my trip to Liberty - I may come out of there with the whole DS and Durga collection who knows!
