These all making me feel better. Think im under 100 of travel size. Not including tiny testers. I do go through them at a rate of knots though so probably just as many if I count empties!

Can I ask what you do with mini testers? Do you recycle them? Boots don’t take them. I’ve tried ( not hard) to take the top off

Empties go in brown bin waste ( plastic/ glass)

Thank you all 🩷🥳

@Doglover73 aww bless her, does she need to wear a cone of shame? Ours is recovering well, we're trying to encourage her to walk a bit more every day. I'm going to take her out for 5 minutes today, although I'm not sure she'll do 5 mins just yet. It'll be the first time she's gone out, but she's now managed from the back door to the sofa (full length of the house), so we need a bigger space 🥰

Its a blow up ring which is comfier. Although the pup got to it so it has a slow puncture. 🤣🥰

Doglover73 · 26/01/2026 19:11

I was going to put a pic on but then came up sensitive image so didnt.
You can get on amazon. Comfier. If you want me to pm pic let me know x

IDontHateRainbows · 26/01/2026 09:08

So that means she has chosen a DS and Durga scent?

I doubt this is a free choice surely someone is charging the brands for the exposure. .

Edited

I dont know. I didnt watch the whole vid on insta. Fragrances were at the end but I presume so. 👍

Le labo eucalyptus. I needed a bit of uplift today. I would really love a full bottle of this one day but for now my travel size will have to see me through.

I'm not sure I can wait until my actual birthday to open it. I may have to get Mr Rainbows to hide it in the attic (which I can't get into)

SOTMorning is the gorgeous Jo Malone Myrrh & Tonka 🤎✨ I wanted something cosy, comforting, but still luxurious. Even though I’m working from home, I’m still very much in birthday mode 🥳 I didn’t want to reach for Brompton again as it feels too special, but this is the perfect alternative. Nice for this horrid day!! I'm still having to hold the dog up for toileting (very glam), and got soaked this morning in my winnie the pooh pj's 🤣 I'm fully embracing leftover cake for breakfast, lunch and tea today 🤣🎂🐷 I feel it's a need!

I’ve heard that our noses and tastes can change over time, and sometimes what we love one year, we don't the next. Has anyone else heard or experienced this? I definitely have a few perfumes I’ve rebought for years and still adore 💗

Doglover73 · 27/01/2026 09:54

Mine have changed in peri meno especially.
Day to day as well x

QueefofSheena · 27/01/2026 10:32

SOTD is a CH VGG Elixir. I’ve probably put on too much but I’ve used up a dabber bottle. That’s one mini down, I daren’t count how many I have but I feel better now knowing I’m not alone!

Oh all the time. I think that just exposure to a lot of different smells as part of the perfume journey, my tastes change over time. Like my nose gets bored or something!

Luckily I don't buy many full bottles for this very reason and the ones I have bought I still like enough to get wear out of them

Currently heading in a freshie- curious direction after months of hating them!

John Lewis Signature Scent Box £65 worth £217. Doesn’t have a share link, found it under rewards in the app, early access.

I have had an email that the Miller Harris discovery set is half price, am sure it was on offer last year too…..did anyone get it and was it worth it?

QueefofSheena · 27/01/2026 21:58

I saw the JL box on the app and was relieved that there’s not much I haven’t got or don’t want

Drowningnotwaving74 · 28/01/2026 08:35

Help all I love scents with a patchouli base coco madamoiselle and several discontinued ones a rabanne one called elle I think any ideas?

The liberty scent kits are down to £67 for BD members, from 90 originally. I have had the floral and the fresh and rated them both, the fresh in particular (has ignited my freshie-curious phase). Didn't think so much of the woody - and it's mis decribed as musc ravageur being in there when it's vetiver extraordinaire.

Clearly they could not shift them at £90.

OP posts:
Doglover73 · 28/01/2026 09:33

Is the fresh one citrusy @IDontHateRainbows

JoRaRaRa · 28/01/2026 09:38

I like the sound of the woody one, but the thought of paying £67 when up until a few days ago, CB were selling off their stockings at £16, seems like a lot of money 🤣

Mackemlass79 · 28/01/2026 10:04

SOTD an oldie but I really like it had bottle for ages veraace vanitas. Trying to use up what I have ro justify my ridiculous perfume addiction. Anyone seen and/or tried the new Dior addict scents yet? The look gorgeous and sound appealing but don't want to buy based on aesthetics

MotherWol · 28/01/2026 10:04

@MrsBnow12 at under £20, I'd say the Miller Harris discovery set is great value, Hydra Figue is one of my favourite fig scents with the way it marries fig with a salty coastal note, and Peau Santal is a beautiful wearable sandalwood.

SOTD Zara Vapeur Blanche, I smell like cedar wood and sauna steam in a most gratifying way. Has basically zero projection, but I don't mind.
