Scent of the day part 7 - let the friendly perfumistas take you to perfume heaven!

I thought I'd try some from my Guerlain sample pack today. This morning was Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic and I didn't think I'd like it, and I didn't. It's wayyyy too citrussy for me.

This afternoon was Absolus Allegoria Cuir Intense, which I really liked, but smells just like maison crivelli cuir infrarouge. I also like rose amira 😍 I'm tempted to get a full size bottle of it.

I’m in the mood for a few sample packs but going to add them to a list, go smell some and get some perfume empties out. Guerlain on the list!

I think the liberty lounge looks excellent but I am sure you can email them to understand the deal first. I have been in a few times to the downstairs and think a personal curated experience would get more out of it. Also go early! The assistants all seem a bit tired in the late afternoon

Fragrance Du Bois lucius ce soir. Lovely, citrus top notes but tempered by softerbase notes so not too sharp.

It's my birthday weekend 🥳 not actually my birthday until Monday but the celebrations have started 💃 So I've started off with PDM Oriana. I don't know why I sprayed it from the 10ml I have, when I've got a full size bottle 🙈🤣 maybe more coffee is needed.

This one is soft, sweet, and (the only way I can describe it) fluffy. It has a creamy warmth that runs through it, making it comforting whilst still being joyful and pretty. It is my favourite from PDM and is the one that I said I thought Minnie Mouse would wear 🩷 I'm going out tonight, so I may just keep topping it up all day and wear it tonight too 😍

SOTD: Miller Harris Feuilles de Tabac - borrowed from DH, an undeniably masculine woody spicy one for an outdoorsy day.

SOTD for Saturday is an old one tryjng to use some older ones up to justify my buying habit so today its lalique nilang a lovely fresh oriental style fragrance tho not long lasting on my skin however can smell it on my top and really like it

SOTD here in sunny Norfolk is Coach Gold. It's a tester from a kit or box somewhere. I really like it. It's nice sort of office scent, so wasted on a Saturday! Warm and appealing. I looked it up - it's a lower price point than others I like so might look out for offers on a FB once I have cleared more of my minis.

Oriana is lovely. I think my favorite pdm.

Sotd Vyrao free 00 (can use the travel guilt free now that I have a fs on the way yay) and sote bibbi vanilla factory. Have my relative visiting next month when I’ll receive the contents of the space nk advent I bought (plus a few other bits 😍) when it was reduced so will have some new frags to play around with then too. Until then I’m trying to restrain myself

SOTD is CH GG original. Trying to use up some of my dabbers and I find the CH shoe ones always break in the ‘heel’ bit so I end up balancing them on something. Perhaps I have hammers for hands 😁

Acqua di Parma Lily of the Valley for me today. Strange one - blind buy, and nearly regretted it. Don't really very on with the opening at all but 30 minutes later it is gorgeous.

Prada paradoxe radical essence..nice but can be a bit overwhelming. I wouldn't wear it out, its a bit too intense.

Sot evening, more than 1 as I had a session

Tobacco vanille. I do love Tobacco scents. Thos one has a lovely dry down

Ganymede. Lovely metallic saffron, then layered with crystal saffron. So hard to describe this one but I love it. Crystal saffron is definitely the right name, its like an artificial take on saffron. Which is ironic as the perfumer uses real ingredients.

Have done a big sort out of beauty items today including fragrances and I now have a smaller collection. Lots will be sold/gifted. Still have lots of teeny samples though but I’ll get through those. Was expecting to sell on the SJ sandalwood temple but actually will keep both the 5+10ml I have as it’s such an easy wear. That’s my sotd as I tested it again to make sure. It feels much more manageable now and I’m ready to receive my new goodies 😅

Vyrao I am verdant today which is a lovely one for when spring is on the way.

Perfumistas, I am going to get the perfume lounge experience on my birthday. Why not! There are some smaller size matiere premiere they sell if i dont want a big bottle. Depending on finances, I could be persuaded who knows.

Omg just saw they do a special DS and Durga experience, definitely booking that.

My wallet may not be safe thar day, but heck it's my birthday!

All the Harrods stuff 🙈🤣 I've given quite a bit of it to my husband to wrap for me, everything but the advent calendars and the cheeseboard 🤣 As I can't go out anywhere tomorrow due to the dog, I thought having some presents to open throughout the day would be nice 🩷

I bought the new guerlain pink cherry blossom lipstick case from Fenwick yesterday. Liberty did f me over with it though, I have £110 credit with them and it was 10% off, but they said that my password was wrong (lies), so I requested a reset email and it took ages to come through, by the time I went back on, it had sold out. So I just bought one of the limited edition lipsticks to go in it. But it ended up costing me £10 more from Fenwick as there was no discount and I needed to pay for postage 😮‍💨 I also bought another of the limited edition lipsticks for it from Sephora with the GIFT10 promo code, it took £10 off the price 🥰

I'm hoping my mum and dad gift me a bit of money so I can pick up one of the chantecaille flamingo eyeshadow palettes and maybe some more organisation baskets 😊

Ooo thank you for reminding me of spiky muse, I think I'm going to use it today. I've put quite a few fragrances into a makeup bag and keep forgetting about it, nm what I've got in there 🤦🏻‍♀️
