SOTD: Tiziana Terenzi Dorade from the Harrods FAC ✨
Sparkly and bright, but with a comforting warmth underneath. It feels uplifting without being overwhelming and exactly what I need today for a quiet day at home, looking after the dog, doing a bit of beauty sorting and taking things slowly. Calm, cosy, but still a little bit special 🧡

Fugazzi Vanilla Haze this morning, layered with SJ Sandalwood Temple. Cosy, woody vanilla. Very nice.
Last night I tried Comme des Garçons Copper. It was in a Liberty Scent Edit last year. My first thought was, ‘Oh God, dirty ashtray!’ But within half an hour that note had gone and I was left with leather and vanilla. I’ll keep it. Kept sniffing my wrist all evening.

Ive been making friends with my dries van noten antwerp discovery set today. I like this house! The chamomile satin is a gorgeous lavender vanilla, soie malaquis has blackcurrant and chestnut and rock the myrhh is a spicy, sweet affair. The only one I was a bit meh about is fleur de mal which is a peachy floral. Its ok but compared to the others a bit boring. Nothing I hate.

This house is an undiscovered gem, we'll worth discovering.

SOTEvening is sana jardin sandalwood temple, it's a very cosy scent 😍

Could you please share a link to the discovery set? I really like their bottles.

I am half way through the LBTY Hera Reigns sample! How is that happening. I barely touch perfume. It doesn’t last long which helps. I’ve never liked an Oud before. I don’t have @JoRaRaRa descriptive powers but it’s just nice cosy and comforting without feeling old fashioned or suffocating.

SOTD was Fugazzi Cashflower. It’s ok but not a love. I asked DH to try Nishane as I really like it but I think it may smell better on him.

Elie saab elixir love today. Really grown on me. I wondered why I liked it so much being rose which im not normally a massive fan of, its the cherry. Lots of cherry in here. Cherry + Rose fans will love it.

Confession, I did break my buying ban as liberty have 20% off for bd members × I had a £20 voucher so I got the dear polly set of 3 x 10ml for 76. This is a great summer scent so i may leave it til later in the year.

Bronze goddess is my SOTD today and still very unsure of if thankfully its only a small size. Settled down to a but if a sun tan lotion smell and i know it's more a summer scent maybe will retry it in few mths

the Dries ones are gorgeous. I went to liberty about 4 months ago and smelt a ton. Beautiful I think though so many options 🧐. They do not get discounted so I am also breaking my ban to buy some with BD vouchers today. I’m tempted by the atomiser one but not my preferred scents!

SOTD yesterday was Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille - I wish I could like this one as much as everyone else does, because on me the woody notes are strong and kind of creosotey? Finished up the last of a decant though!

SOTD today: Zara Livre Blanc, clean cotton and white musk, fresh laundry almost to the point of dry cleaning, in a really nice way. Perfect for a day at home doing some study and prep.

Broke my buying ban, got one of the other Zara/Giacobetti scents on Vinted. Oops.

IRL the full size dries bottle are so stunning. I like DVN as a clothes house but 😍 on the bottles.

@Lurkingshark DvN had a signup form on their FB just before Christmas for free samples, it's worth following them just in case.

The set of 4 is discounted, are the bigger bottles not?

I have the Dries Van Noten Selection Quai Malaquais but I haven't tried any of them yet.

Yesterday's SOTD was Saltworks Brown Sugar, trying to use up the discovery set. It smelled nicer than I remember it from the first time I tried it. It may have reactivated the Oman Luxury Nasaj I had worn again the night before, in which case, the combination was enjoyable.

Today is Ko Meme from the same set.

SOTD has been Brompton Immortals. I really love this one, it’s soft and spicy, with sweet vanilla and a gentle floral touch. It feels relaxed and comforting but also elegant at the same time. It's long lasting is this one, I sprayed it this morning and I can still smell it now 😍

I love this one. Definitely a top find of the year.

@IDontHateRainbowsi meant the liberty deal is a good deal as I don’t think they get discounted generally! The big bottles are in the offer but too much for me- I’ve more to use up than a few lifetimes!

Bdk gris charnel extrait tonight. Prefer the original if im.honest but this is nice too.

Switched back to Commodity Milk Orchid, as I have a FB of that. Nearly finished the 2ml Hera Reigns from LBTY and I wanted to keep it a bit longer.
