@JoRaRaRaI did check their website to see if I could do that but they’re much cheaper currently on other sites. But the fox packaging is definitely my favourite too. Lovely!

Evergreen21 · 25/12/2025 12:46

Happy Christmas to all those of you celebrating today. Fenty has an up to 60% sale today so I picked up a few more of the velvet lipsticks and lip luminiser. I'm considering picking up an Hourglass palette but now am considering the Lancome gift set too.

AlPaccacino · 25/12/2025 13:20

I got an hourglass evil eye brush, a By Terry tinted powder and chantecaille. Bronzer. Used points and Xmas voucher from DH so cost me £42.

IDontHateRainbows · 25/12/2025 14:07

Warning about Fenty, I sent something back and they failed to process my return and wouldn't look into it, its with Klarna now under buyer protection so im glad I bought through Klarna but they just washed their hands of me despite acknowledging the item had been received back. Buyer beware!

Hicupping · 25/12/2025 14:18

£5 cashback global via quidco - CB, SNK LF all count https://www.quidco.com/incentive/global-bonus-25december2025/

Merry Christmas - so much tempting stuff at SNK

Hicupping · 25/12/2025 16:07

After all that only want the Westman atelier blush trio.

IlovePond · 25/12/2025 18:22

@paristotokyo - the cheapest place I have found the HG palette today is Harvey Nichols: £64.40.

LemonJuiceFromConcentrate · 25/12/2025 18:30

Incredible restraint today as I filled a £100+ SpaceNK basket and then looked very hard at each item and thought about whether and how I would use them, whether I might want something else more, etc. Ended up
buying only some Slip scrunchies 😇

Hicupping · 23/12/2025 14:35

My faves of 2025 are deeply unsexy and quite cheap. There's not many new items.

Top item
Biodance cera nol gel toner pads.
I have rosacea and these are amazing. Feel red flush coming on usually in winter and over heating pop one on each cheak and it's gone. And even better rosacea can stack up and your skin gets worse but woke up this morning and no sign of the flush. I've got some other pads I haven't tried yet so they might have same effect but these are tried and tested.

Joint top
Red light mask - redness gets worse in winter then fades but it didn't this year so went back to research and these came up. I already owned 2. Zutta and Stylpro which also has infra-red. These make a difference and also make skin look better. I've been slacking last 2 weeks and I can tell the difference. The stylpro was on LF for £70 very recently and I did my research so I'm confidence it's a good one. I since got Beautypro for the yellow and don't recommend that due to the battery pack being a well known dud. The Zutta is now cheaper on Amazon I've seen it at an amazing £65 but doesn't have infrared but would be better for acne blue light than the stylpro as it has a stronger blue light. I use mine when I wake up which is always before my alarm, slap on for 10mins before getting up.

2nd
Q+A azelaic acid. If you're looking for a serum that gently exfoliates and has nice soothing ingredients and amazingly only £7-9 try this it's fab. I've got the PC from Liberty advent and prefer Q+A. I'd imagine it's very good for spots too.

3rd
Drowning in cleasers but really like Clever soaps sulfur deeply unsexy but just leaves my skin clean, not tight and might help with rosacea, not 100% sure but it just works as a cleanser for me. And I'm drowning in expensive Algenist, Votary, elemis cleansers and this just works.

4th
La Roche Posay cica plast baume - recommending this if your skin is sensitised been a bit stripped or weather beaten. Nice, nothing anti-aging but solid get your skin back cream.

GOATS
Ren (cry) Dark spot sleeping cream - don't have dark spots but how often do you put something on and then next day go ooh wow. This is probably the product I've bought most of. Got it as a mini in an M&S box and they got a lot of purchases on the back of it.

Dr organic Manuka mask - if you're looking for a clay mask that doesn't dry out but pulls out the crap this is perfect.

Duds.
Dud of the year Medik8 Vit C SPF moisturiser - god this made my skin look terrible like I'd put butter on it. Just no.

Niod modulating glucosdes - impressive ingredients promises so much, does nothing. So sad.

Niod SMDS or something spray - product might be good but it's like putting your face in a car jet wash. It's assault, why not have a spray that mists.

Other faves
OTO pillow mist -fab combined with a sleep supplement I no longer use Nytol.

Liberty 1875 most I've ever spent on a fragrance but after been let down by unisex scents I loved this and bought the whole thing.

Honourable mensions

You lot, Beauty detective, Vouchercodes (got some serious vouchers coming my way), Beauty advent.

Vieve complexion balm - I'm still figuring out best way to put this on but it's a great colour match and soft matt not dewy.

Lisa eldridge pin concealer.

Set of face poofs I bought in a plastic stack jar for £6 from Asda (part of xmas stuff with face sponges and hair bands which I've not tried). Seriously Huda etc selling them for £8 each. They're no different, I've got both.

Wrist bands when washing your face, always seem to get water running down right hand which ends up on my boob area. Why? This stops them.

Edited

Oh going to try these toner pads. Thanks x

Hicupping · 25/12/2025 18:39

I've just been looking around to see if in sale Just my look is cheapest. £16.14 I leave them on for about 30mins.

TragicMuse · 25/12/2025 19:43

My 2025 has been a rediscovery of skincare. I’d not paid much attention for a few years, maybe some moisturiser sometimes, going to bed with makeup on, all of that. My skin was rough, red and uncomfortable.

Some months ago I embarked on a skincare adventure - daily cleansing, serums, moisturising…and it’s been revelatory.

My skin now now is soft, smooth, calm.

I can’t pick winners in every category but Trinny The Elevator for my neck, and a K-beauty SPF cream from Prettyskin which I first got from our dear @OvaHere,and which I have repurchased, are top of the list.

I love serums, I’ve got some in my stash to try, so we’ll see if I find a favourite.

Oh, winner GWP was the Space NK a few months ago. It was packed and brilliant!

I really need to do a low-spend year to get through my stash but I’ll be here in case of amazing GWPs and offers…

MrsBnow12 · 25/12/2025 20:40

For those that can access Brown Thomas in Ireland they have great deals, most of the Kate Somerville range is 50 % off and a friend has very kindly ordered this Victoria Beckham Beauty set for me.

Hope you've all had a lovely Christmas day.

As well as my stashed xmas goodies I also got some Delina Shower gel.

@LemonJuiceFromConcentrate I was also quite restrained in the SNK sale. I contemplated all sorts but in the end just bought one of the CT eye palettes that were released earlier this year. They're supposed to be very nice but I thought the RRP was too expensive. Anyway with a £20 voucher and the sale price I got the green one for around £16.

Was tempted by the HG Deer palette. It would have been £49 if I'd used my voucher on that but I reasoned that I already have 2 which is probably one more than I actually need as it is. 😂

I've bought the Augustinus Bader Glow Essentials set with the 30ml and 15ml rich creams in from the SpaceNk sale. I have just started on a 15ml from my Frankenstein calendar, so I'll probably put this set away until autumn time. I also bought a chantecaille lipstick 😊

DidILeaveTheGasOn · 25/12/2025 11:56

I'm trying not to buy anything but we'll see how that plays out because I've already bought some skincare 👀

I'm a little peeved, I asked my other half for an Elizabeth Scarlett make up pouch when they were reduced in the BF sales and he didn't get me one because, and I quote,
'I won't be told when to shop'. Very unlike his character, he's a very easy going and generous chap. Just fighting The Man when it comes to Black Friday and the crucial flaw in the whole thing is that he didn't tell me about his Principles avec reduced cosmetic bags until AFTER BF was over.

In a rallying cry to support my own feral Will Shop All The Time principles, I'm considering buying an ES pouch at full price. Help me.

Yes they are expensive it beautiful and you won't regret it.
What I do regret is not buying certain designs or taking too long to decide then they were out of stock and out of production.

So I'd say if you have your heart set on one just go for it.
You get a discount code for signing up or first order so use that to help mitigate any guilt and sense of excess.

Btw your oh is a bit silly to dig in with his Principles and then not buy you the thing you requested. So go for it yourself !

It might be worth a look on Vinted, for an ES bag - there were a few on there before Christmas and you may get lucky

Nothing to do with beauty but Hotel Chocolat sale is on and this code even gave me 15% off sale WEL-AW3K3W7SZW

@paristotokyo - the cheapest place I have found the HG palette today is Harvey Nichols: £64.40.

Thanks, I did look there too but I had credit to use with space nk so it worked out much cheaper! It ended up being £54. I ordered the swan and I’m so excited but THAT’S IT. I really need to mute this thread but it’s so addictive 😂

IlovePond · 26/12/2025 06:48

Glad you got one @paristotokyo . I am still resisting but may crack!

namechange0998776554799000 · 26/12/2025 07:39

I've been given a €100 voucher for Amazon France - any beauty products that might be better to buy from there than the UK? I wouldn't normally buy from Amazon in fear of fakes, but maybe something not too premium might be ok? I think the €100 will translate to a lot less once I factor in tax and delivery charges

MrsBnow12 · 26/12/2025 08:36

Sephora have a gwp with a £140 spend today, need to use code DECTREAT as doesn’t automatically add to your basket. Think it is valid for today only.

@Hicupping Fellow rosacea sufferer. I like the Biodance Gel pads. I've got the oink ones though - may have to try the ones you mention when I run out. I think I've got that NIOD spray but not opened it yet. Your description doesn't bode well. 😂

@MrsBnow12 @IDontHateRainbows was also tempted by a Kayali set and the Valentino Roma set in the Sephora sale. I've told myself no though.

@DidILeaveTheGasOn also not filled with joy at a low buy but I need to do it. I'm telling myself my reward will be a bit of leeway (and space) for next advent season.

Hi
Which clever soap is it you use?
I have mature, combination skin and have rosacea 😘

BakeOffRewatch · 26/12/2025 10:41

Fiiinnaaallly finished the Fig 1 retinol night cream £34.62 for 50ml which I received in a cult beauty edit in 2024 and cracked open this tiny 7ml of Augustinus Bader retinol serum £150 for 15ml. It applies nicely and I like the texture but it smells funny and I can smell this sort of plastic-y smell around my face

ITookYourJoob · 26/12/2025 10:45

Happy Christmas everyone! It looks like I’ve missed the good bargains, all the sets that I’d like have been sold out. Probably will get some Kopari if they drop a bit more but otherwise nothing really tempting me. Maybe worth waiting till January sales.

DidILeaveTheGasOn · 26/12/2025 11:40

Elizabeth Scarlett is up to 30% off today! (I am ridiculously happy about this!)
