New thread for when the old one is finished. We rattled through the last thread being a chatty bunch.

Everyone welcome to chat about beauty and/or share bargain finds.

@OvaHere you kind of get into the whole hype of it, so you don’t forget to make your choices. Around 10 days before the box is released they start releasing spoilers. You then have a week to research things and decide what you are buying, and then choices open - it’s always on a Friday at 5pm UK time, and as @Doglover73 says you do need to get on quickly to make sure you get what you want. It can then take a month or more for the box to actually arrive, by which time I’ve often forgotten what I ordered so opening it i can be quite fun.

I have got a lot of random stuff over the years (last season’s garlic grating plate had yet to be tried!) but have also got some bargainous beauty stuff over time - though there is a risk that they are fairly old stock. Also have some nice kitchen stuff like mugs and glasses. It took me a while to try one, but I have to admit I love their Unhide blankets, and have struggled to find anything as nice for less, so now have three. They are typically “Add Ons” to the main box.

I had then stood away for best but pulled one out before Xmas and do love it. I have pack ups. Ive had them as a category choice. Id never buy one for so much rrp. Knowing my luck dog would chew it. X

Cult Beauty has a gwp with £75 spend on skin and bodycare. Doesn't seem too exciting at first glance but does have two full sizes. The cleanser sounds nice.

That Kate Somerville cleanser seems to be everywhere at the moment, wish it was the goat milk one as that’s one of my favourites.

This is the least exciting gwp I've ever seen...

I got all the way to payment TWICE on Style Korean, both times my PayPal logged itself out! I think it’s a sign that I don’t need to buy anything!

So I’m leaving the K-beauty itch unscratched till my stash has gone down.

Low buy is feeling dull (probably should be 'lower' buy as I have to take accountability for buying the Elemis BAC).

I'm not finding it too difficult as such because I'm not really seeing stuff I want at the moment but I'm missing wanting and coveting stuff iyswim?

I'm missing that feeling of a beauty edit I really want. It's partly my own fault because I've got and tried so much stuff. There seems to be lots of repeats across boxes as well which adds to the meh.

I am enjoying shopping my stash but some stuff is taking forever to finish when I'm impatient to shop the back of my wardrobe. I don't want too much open at once though.

My beautylish box seems to be stuck on label created so no idea when that's showing up to relieve the dullness.

I definitely need a dopamine hit from something! I bought some clothes yesterday, which was fab. Now I want some new headphones and since I am gadget-girl I simply MUST get the best I can. So I’m feeding my wanting/coveting needs with that…

Funny you should mention headphones. I keep seeing Bose adverts for some with really nice colours and thinking I could do with some better ones for work...😂

@keepincool I'm not sure. I cancelled my subscription well over a year ago and unsubscribed from emails and texts but I still get random notices. This link came by text today. Gave you tried it in incognito mode in a web browser?
I tested by adding 2 different boxes to my basket, I'm not logged in to my account so it doesn't know it is me, and the discount is showing in the basket.
Maybe it is a sign from the beauty gods not to buy anything today!!!!

Oh god yes, the dopamine hit is A Thing. I late night bought a set of brushes from Spectrum in the sale yesterday then decided I desperately needed another set that had sold out, managed to track them down on Vinted and bought those too. In the course of finding the brushes I came across a pair of pajamas from Elizabeth Scarlett I had loved and dismissed last year as they were too expensive. Now on their way to me. I’m not going to mention the other pjs on sale at John Lewis… I’m supposed to be low buy! I was doing so well.

Oh I’ve just remembered that I bought some hair stuff from Vinted! Two cans of Milk Shake Whipped Cream conditioning foam. It’s lovely, and what my hairdresser uses. It’s normally something crazy like £35 FOR ONE CAN! Who on earth pays that? For a foam?

I went a bit mad and paid £28 for two, but it was the cheapest I’ve seen it. And it does last as my hair is short so I don’t need much.

I’m thinking about some Shokz…
