Boots Skincare Advent Calendar opening thread

This thread is for those of us who have the Boots Skincare Advent. I know some of the threads have rules (or requests) not to post spoilers before 7am. I'm not bothered about that but if others would prefer we did include that request, we can.

Bubble moisturiser today. Not massively exciting but will be used.

Very late getting to it today. I've suddenly remembered all the bits of work I want to get finished before christmas and have been extremely productive in between dropping adult dc to various places (the drawback of rural living).

I agree @Peridot1 - not terribly exciting but functional.

How is everyone finding the calendar? I'm enjoying it. A lot of functional stuff bt that's what I was expecting. Some brands I'm looking forward to trying, particularly the K-beauty ones.

I'm really enjoying it too. I just finished some day cream this morning so opened this one immediately.
I agree, there's lots of functional stuff but it will all get used, even if some of it is by DS! The rice water toner is my favourite product so far. I think it's making a noticeable difference to my skin and I'd definitely rebuy. I do like that all the products are within my reach to rebuy, unlike JL but then I really enjoy trying the more high end products in that one so I do feel like I've got a good balance this year

I’m enjoying it. I went for it as realised it has lots of the basics I use up like cleansers, toners, moisturiser etc. I have had higher end ones and loved them and probably will again and love the luxury of them and the products but stocking up on more basics is good too. And because it’s skincare only there are no random black eyeliners or hair clips or similar.

Also it was ‘free’ as I had enough Boots points!

Another sheet mask today. This one looks more suited to my skin type though. You are supposed to leave it on for 30mins so hopefully I'll find time for that over Twixtmas. It also suggests using overnight but I'm not sure that would be pleasant or practical!
Only one more day to go and I've completely forgotten what's left

I might give this one a try too. Dd has taken the other one.

What a great looking product to finish on! Very happy to have another K Beauty item as I've loved the ones so far.
