Wide leg jeans

I'm looking for recommendations for wide leg jeans. Up until a year ago I wore skinny jeans and then I got some nice bootcut jeans from M&S but now I want to try wide leg to upgrade my millennial uniform!

I'm relatively slim and average height if that makes a difference...

M and S high waist smart wide leg jeans. Great fabric. Hold shape well. Look smart. They look much better than on the model!

I like Monki for jeans. I have two pairs and they are fab and good quality and not TOO wide.

Sadly they have now been taken over by Weekday and the range isnt as good, but you can still get some on Asos. The imoo ones are great.

I don't think they suit many women. Bootleg look much better IMHO.

By all means update your uniform, just remember that you don't have to.

They suit me much more than bootleg. Something about bum/thigh/height ratio. Wide leg can be much more flattering for some people.

I found the MandS cut to be weird on me-tight at the crotch, baggy on the waist. New Look Adelae was much much better-so I would recommend you try a few brands and see how each suits you.

I got a really nice pair from Levi’s a few months ago although they are a bit big now and slightly wider than I like so I wear thermals underneath to stop the chill, and today picked up a slightly darker but similar pair from H&M.

I can’t order jeans online, I can never accurately guess whether they’re going to be more hip or waist sitting (although I do prefer a high waist personally, I feel it holds my tummy in and means I can tuck a thermal base layer in and not have it come untucked) so I prefer to try on multiple sizes in person.

I think they look fantastic, If you get the right pair for you, slim over the hips and backside, then gently flaring out to a wide leg. I’ve several pairs now and so comfy,

funnily enough I was looking at the markies ones linked up thread I want a white pair, for summer and they are out of stock in my size.

I got 2 pairs, denim blue and light blue wide leg from sainsbury's. They are great. I might go back for black. I wear them with jumpers tucked in. Or a boxy jacket. I'm 47, size 12 (they wear big so i can get my jumper in) and 5'3". I think I look quite cool in them! They do regular leg as well.

Bootleg look bad on me.

I'm wearing m&s boot cut. I feel like me in the 00s! I have had compliments. They are black and very slimming / comfy.

I got some crackers from Urban Outfitters - they have totally converted me to wide leg. Mine are their own BDG range.

I don’t think I’m ready to return to bootcut! Mind you I never thought I’d ever wear a pair of wide legged again and here we are 😂

Sainsbury’s dark denim barrel leg jeans are very good on me, and they look far more designer than supermarket.

Red button do a lovely pair of wide legs. They are sooooooo comfy!

I have had to check that you are not me. I have presumably the same jeans in black, light and dark blue. Also size 12 and 5ft 3, I’m 49 though (and not a nudist). If you do go for the black, they are weirdly much smaller on the waist, I was getting a bit overconfident thinking the 10 might fit until I got the black.
