Wide leg jeans

I'm looking for recommendations for wide leg jeans. Up until a year ago I wore skinny jeans and then I got some nice bootcut jeans from M&S but now I want to try wide leg to upgrade my millennial uniform!

I'm relatively slim and average height if that makes a difference...

OP didn’t ask what people think of wide leg jeans. Literally not the question.

The best high street ones I’ve found are from Uniqlo - the baggy curve leg. They don’t sit stupidly high on the waist and look great.

People ask me often where they from , they fit lovely - I’m 5.8 size 14. Saving up to get another pair! Bootleg don’t suit me and I never thought you’d get me out of skinny jeans!

That said, I do think good wide leg jeans can be hard to find compared to other shapes and I second @EllaPaella's Uniqlo tip - strictly speaking they're more of a wide, curve leg but I've found they hang and wear better than other high street brands (including M&S, sorry). I've not tried Levi Ribcage yet though.

I was a skinny or die person yet now am all for my wide legs. The thing is you also have to adapt what you wear with them - the trending tops for wide legs are cut short and often wider. The top should not be clinging to you. It's refreshing after years of skinnies.

Model has a weird crease going on at the crotch which puts me off these.

Also, what are Baukjen sizes like? I’m a UK 4-6 and struggle.

I also like a tight, slightly cropped long-sleeved top with wide leg jeans as it balances out the volume on the bottom. The jeans have to be low waist though.

@Jade3450 im a size 14 and fit a size 14 - fairly true to size. They also do a petite version of these.

i highly recommend these i am fairly slim about 5 foot 4 and these fit me perfect come in 4 colours too.

Disagree. Think you can wear them with most things. A skinny fitted top looks nice because of the contrast between tight and flared.
