That’s dreadful. Some people are just complete shits. Can you be sure it’s your bag and they haven’t returned a damaged one so they can keep your brand new bag?

I didn’t even think to check that it was the same bag 😧 I’ll do that when I get home!

I emailed again today and SpaceNK got back to me about the delay.

Apparently, my order is hazardous DHL can only process a limited number of such parcels each day.

I'm quite amused by their italicising hazardous. That's probably less hazardous than hazardous and most definitely less hazardous than HAZARDOUS or HAZARDOUS. I haven't decided where hazardous would fit in. I'm not sure would that be more or less hazardous than hazardous.

Anyway, this is what I'm imagining happening with my calendar at the DHL depot

@LetitSnowball don’t accept the bag on Vinted. Report there is an issue and send them pictures of your bag from your listing and the bag you have received as well as the packaging it came in. They are much better than they used to be about helping sellers. Don’t give up- mostly 99% of my far-too-many Vinted purchases have been absolutely fine. Good luck

I have not received my Space Nk perfumes order but it's not my first rodeo with then. They were very late last year too

I think @AppleDumplingWithCustard has hit the nail on the head - it would take a special type of vile AND weird person to go to the trouble of destroying a bag just so they could justify the refund they were going to get anyway. It’s far more likely that they ruined their own bag and decided to get a free replacement.

Having said that, there are some very weird people out there🤷‍♀️

They did - in terms of samples to show people so that they could make their orders. It was one of the big attractions for me - 77/78-ish. I can't remember a case, although I obviously had something to cart everything around in. I was sad to leave school, and lose my little earner!

I suppose my mum had something to carry around in the case so they probably did do samples. I was quite young so don’t really remember. I’m not sure she did it long as I suspect a working class suburb of Dublin where most women weren’t working wasn’t too lucrative. She went to Cadbury’s which was much better!

You dont have to accept the return. Suspend transaction and advise Vinted you received the bag not in a condition you have sent in, although their CS is shocking its worth a try.

The sister of a friend of the family used to work in Cadbury's. There was lots of free chocolate, some of which made its way to us on occasion. That would have been early 70's.

I received a text message from Royal Mail saying it was going to be delivered on Sunday, but still no sign of it. When I check on tracking it says it’s still with them…

Hyori’s Bed & Breakfast, seasons 1&2 (I love this show - it was the first Korean TV show we properly watched here at PondTowers. During lockdown when we couldn’t even leave the house, it was nice to virtually visit Jeju Island!)

If you really want to go wild, you could also get into KPop survival show reality TV. Oldest adult DS went through a phase of being obsessed with these shows during lockdown and we all got into watching them. It’s an absolutely fascinating genre and that’s what I was watching tonight. It’s a horrific industry in some ways, but I do really admire the work ethic of those attempting to break into it.

It’s definitely not the same bag, I’ve turned it out to find bits of crumb/lint and the label cut out so I can’t check the serial number. I had already said I received it so have contacted vinted again. I feel like a bit of an idiot with it all 😣

Anyway, I hope more beauty bargains are on the way to bring some festive cheer to all of us who need it. 🎄

@LetitSnowballthats just awful, I don’t know how people can do that to others. Really hope you can sort it, if you have the photo of your serial no and the one you received that may help? Keeping fingers crossed for you.

@LetitSnowball - that’s dreadful. You could always try taking your claim against the buyer to the small claims court if you don’t get anywhere with Vinted.

Re: Advents

I bought the S&G one from Boots today for £24. I am not a huge fan of the brand, (I don’t like the name or packaging, which I realise is ridiculous!) However, it works out at £1 per door, so a real bargain and it gives me a chance to try new stuff very cheaply.

I am debating whether to keep it for next year or use it for Jadvent!
