Very happy to be on the waifs and strays - have been lurking on all the threads for months and watched the waifs and strays last year! Good start today though. I think it's excellent value for a beauty advent.

I wonder if they held some back @OvaHere because it definitely said sold out on the Shiseido site before. (Either that or they opened a cupboard and thought, ‘Oops!’)

I can't see anyone mentioning Fenwicks BAC on the W&S thread. I really wanted that one but the empty GWP bag and small BF reduction wasn't enough to tempt me.

Well this is the OG enablers thread so AIBU to buy my cats a Jadvent calendar? (Obviously they are catnip treats to eat and not beauty products, as my cats are already beautiful).

For those who are wondering…I fessed up to a second calendar to dh but the third is still hidden in my wardrobe 😳🤣. He wouldn’t seriously mind but he would grumble even more about the money I spend on skincare. I keep saying it means I don’t buy anything all year (but we all know I am far too tempted by bargains and edits so we shall see)

Oh dear. I went to see if it was a different cat advent calendar to the one the I bought for Wilfred and a cheese advent calendar seems to have fallen into my basket for Thursday’s shop. And a chocolate biscoff calendar 🤣🤣

I have the Latest in Beauty one (which I see was reduced to £49 over the weekend - I paid twice that but I guess it was still a bargain) and the Bramley 12 days of Christmas one.

DH has the Bonne Maman one.

@dynamiccactus I don’t believe the main Latest in Beauty was reduced to £49, the grooming one was but didnt aee the main one reduced.
I picked this one up via TikTok and it has a good selection of items for £99

Thanks for this, I had £5 credit so picked up for £117! I already have one, but it’s well worth it for the money, I’ll sell off the few I don’t want again, but DS and I liked a lot out of this one

The original price was £219.99. Edit20 takes it down to £179.99. I liked this and wanted it when it was released, but I really don't need it. If they'd reduced the price earlier, I probably would've bought it but now I have bought too much recently.

The decree treat tincture in the set though is fab 😍 but I already have 1 in my stash, plus a load of other night serums.

@JoRaRaRa I've been saying maybe next year about Guerlain for the last 3 years 😁
The other thread filled up and I'm still trying to catch up but, but, but it was true: finding ACs for my dogs was a real challenge. Some independent shops (pet shops and farm shops) told me they ordered 3 or 4 times more than last year and sold out really quickly. DS found some at a Morrisons store. Can we please have a reminder next August for pet owners to buy the pets' ACs asap. I'll definitely forget.

DDog approved of his a/c treat just now.

For a very greedy dog he can be quite fussy, so there was an anxious moment where we all gathered round as he licked, sniffed and pawed suspiciously at it, before it was finally deemed acceptable 😹

He’s absolutely filthy and soaked after his walk in the rain, btw, which is absolutely wonderful given he’s only just been to the groomers😾
