All quite expensive. I think my husband will be disappointed that 'he's only got me' 5 presents. Maybe I should've given him all the edits and boxes etc to wrap too 🤣

Ahh, I have the Merchants of Venice perfume gift set for myself (bought on trip to Venice earlier in the autumn) - very excited for that :) Otherwise might see if I can find some other little treats on Vinted as I have a decent balance there atm.

Bibbi Vanilla Factory is SOTD. This is the first time I've tried it, and it's intriguing. There's not as much vanilla as I expected and more spice. Not particularly sweet. I'm finding it difficult to pick out the individual notes, but I like it so far.

What's in this? I'm jealous - I like quite a few Merchant of Venice and have 3 FBs. Would love to try others.

Rare edp, bit contentious this one! But it was next to my sink in the bathroom so I’ve given it a spritz tonight. It’s not going to win any awards but it’s fine for what it is. Wouldn’t rp beyond the travel size I have as yes, there’s many better scents than this (in my opinion), however I’m ok to wear it when I don’t want to give it much thought. I agree with @MiaNthat the find comfort one from her brand is much more interesting and I might use that tomorrow as its a day scent for me.

@HolidayHattie I think it's Byzantium Saffron, Mandarin Carnival, Suave Petals, Rosa Moceniga, Andalusian Soul, Mystic Incense - haven't tried any of them before so particularly excited for the saffron & incense :)

I had second thoughts on this one after initially liking it - it's a bit too spicy is my overally opinion, it's nice but a bit too much. Find comfort is better I think although not sure if it has been discontinued as I haven't seen it on sale much.

I find it very sweet - not sure if I have a weird nose. I do like it.

SOTD was carolina herrera good girl. I'm in the big office and after comments last week (complimentary, but makes me self conscious) I'm playing safe.

Have ordered some more CB stockings so that I can give my regular team mates in my usual office each a goodie from that haul - thinking the molecule 01 for the boys and watever is left of heathens, milk or vanilla haze for the women.

SOTD vyrao ludatrix - super sweet fruity. A grower but not perfect.

Just present hunting and I think Sana Jardin are going out of business based on a note on their website. I’m due a FB of Sandalwood Temple and it’s out of stock in many places. Before I sweep a few travels off vinted, any clever people here know of any FB for sale or want to sell?

That doesn't suprise me as they were never that great for the price point. I enjoyed Vanilla Nomad but not enought to get a FB.

Oh that's a shame if they are. I've only just discovered sana jardin sandalwood temple and really like it 😍 but only as a wfh / cosy scent. I might see if I can pick it up on vinted.

Actually I think any fair smell 100 perfumes list needs to include the original Sol De Janeiro 62. I know it's body mist, but in the age of over 8000 perfume releases each year, they have done phenomenally well over the last 10 years and is very recognisable scent.

I thought Vanilla Factory smells like real vanilla, and I like it but I don't know if I want to smell like it. Not only vanilla, but the vanilla note hits me as natural smelling. I have said it before, I get burned plastic from some vanillas (Bianco latte, milk, vanilla powder, vb reverie) and this did not have any hint of plastic. I have not decided it's faith yet, but I have a feeling I will make use of it.

I am not wearing anything today - I just couldn't make my mind up! I may do a sample of something.

were they trying to recreate the smell of latex condom? uh... The latex note is very strong. It's kind of interesting but not something I will be wearing. Will it be odd as bathroom scent?

Spoke too soon, after about 10 minutes it settled well. The strong latex note did not last

SOTD was Brompton Immortals. I've really fallen for this one and find I want to wear it a lot. Makes the Harrods FAC feel worth it as there was a lot in there I didn't like.

Sot evening is crystal saffron by matiere premiere. I love this. Its very aptly named as it has this artificial almost cold ambroxan feel that goes with the softness of the saffron. Aurelien Guichard is a genius!

My relative has kindly offered to send me a ‘care package’ so I’ve been buying skincare and such like on vinted that are cheaper/cannot find here that she can include. I’ve ordered a cb fragrance stocking too as I like 2 of the fragrances and the other two I think I’ll like. It’s a bargain at around £20.

I am trying to decide between VB Portofino or Lost Cherry today.

Green tea for me today. Just the most reliable fresh scent for me and I think it may be one of my favourites. I think I only fell in love with it once I started living in a tropical climate. I know it’s a cheapie but it’s just smells like a spa to me. I’m surprised it wasn’t in your ChatGPT list @MiaN(which I really enjoyed reading btw!)
