Sot morning is Chakra champaka from.the ataratma discovery box. Its a lovely white floral. Favourite so far.

I say sot morning as im wfh today so will ve spritzing away with some of the discovery boxes, further updates to come.

Slightly off topic but has a one found a “Christmas “ laundry detergent similar in smell to Purdy and figg frankincense and myrrh - want to wash all the throws etc

My other scent today is Radio Bombay by DS Durga. This is one that I wasn't keen on first but has grown on me - my olfactory tastes have changed so much in the last year which makes me realise very little point in me being full bottles even if I could afford it as last year's yum could be this years yuk.
I have the 10ml rollerball of this - it's quite masculine and spicy so not my usual thing but has a lovely softer base note and works really well for some reason.

Penhaligons have some freebies with a £140 or £180 spend.

If they ever decided to do Babylon in a 30ml bottle I may be interested but I'm irrationally annoyed at them for ONLY doing it in the 100ml, £215 bottle, it's the only scent of theirs I really rate but for some reason it never gets into any of the smaller sizes or kits.

Day scent was Vyrao Witchy Woo.

I can smell BORNTOSTANDOUT Black mango on my dressing gown, I love it. I’ve had a look on Vinted and eBay and there’s no one selling on samples or bottles at a good price. There is someone selling 5ml decants! Is that allowed!?

I guess it is as the bots kill any listings that dont meet the rules now.

Id go with an established sample seller like perfumista or fragrance samples tho, I worry otherwise that it's watered down.

Laundry Day from the Liberty edit will be great to take on sunny holiday. Its more citrus fresh then laundry to my nose but I am craving something fresh this morning. Will move to something more seasonal after my workout and walk the dog

I wore adp spice & oud with BDK Gris Charnel a few weeks ago for a christmas market, it felt like a festive combination, so that again 😍

@MiaN I’d opt for something orange and vanilla and woody. No idea what though 😂. I’ll go through my stash collection and see. After a few bottle sniffs, these seem Christmas market appropriate:

@IDontHateRainbows thanks good point about watering down. I thought it was odd that you can’t sell opened stuff on eBay but they’ll let people sell an open item decanted into 5ml testers and as you say possibly water down 🤔

I also thought the caramel of BORNTOSTANDOUT Dirty Milk is appropriate for winter festive market too.

@BakeOffRewatch sana jardin sandalwood temple has become my favourite cosy scent. It's beautiful 😍

It smells a bit medicine-y and Cointreau-y so I’ve never worn it much but also didn’t give it away - Bibbi’s and soapy Granado’s all got given away! It’s nice and interesting. Really fits December, and appreciate @MiaN’s Q bringing it out!

Something spicy and smoky for sure, maybe mumbai noise, or liberty 1875.

Or herrera good girl if im going with a designer option, its quite cosy with the coffee and almond notes.

I would also concur that gris charnel would be a good option.

I was actually thinking velvet aura or jo malone sandlewood and spiced apricot will work too. I would love cup of proper Indian cardamom chai in my hand so I may as well go full out on sweet cardamom scent too

Liberty 1875 is the scent du jour, this is really coming into its own in the winter weather, it's a smoky tuberose, not too sweet and i love the smoke. This has definitely grown on me since I tried it in October. I'd say it's this year's (for me) Gris Charnel.

SOTD is Creed Queen of Silk, a soft feminine scent 💜

I went to pick up my Sephora order and did a big sniff session and for some reason, today I absolutely loved everything I smelt so it was pretty dangerous of me to be there 😀 luckily I reigned myself in. I smelt Burberry goddess as I know that’s meant to be very similar to the rare edp I bought, but with added lavender. I usually dislike lavender but I liked it. Then I went on to smell some mm replicas, specifically under the stars and soul of the forest. Again both I really liked! And both were 50% off. Under the stars a leathery oudy scent and forest is pine-y and woody and really interesting to me. I think I will have to smell these again when I’m not so hormonal 😂 I also tried tf lost cherry which I also loved. Sigh.
