@OvaHere - I don’t want to be an enabler but DDG is one of Cult Beauty’s 25% off brands for Black Friday currently……if you wanted more of the exfoliating pads.

Thanks. I had spotted that but I've only recently bought a box so by the time I'm running out there will probably be another sale somewhere.

Getting rid of Lush lip mask & scrub. Just dont feel motivated to use them, they've sat on my bedside table for over a year.

Lush Sticky dates lotion. I love anything sticky dates, but i think im sick of it at this point. Have another one in stash, but will use when im not bored of it!

Estee Lauder eye cream sample. Liked this, nice and lightweight.

94/100

Blue Nivea lip balm, absolutely love it. I use it alone or over Blistex

diptyque orpheon mini - lovely jazz club scent

sisley eye make up remover - my standard Nivea is equally effective

4 (!?) body shop camomile cleansing butters binned. They’d gone solid. Too solid to use. I guess air had got to them.

alao binned the dregs of a perfume (Georgio Armani si) as I didn’t love it anymore.

Just finished l'occitane almond shower oil. Delicious scent.

Several more bath products will be finished in the next couple of weeks.
Currently have 7 bottles of bubble bath on the go. I'd love to get to a stage where I just have 2 and alternate between them. But then I see a different one in a sale...

Proud of myself for resisting an advent calendar this year. Also resisted a summer beauty bag this year.

wheresmyshoe · 24/11/2025 09:35

Suddenly realised I have a few more when they ran out this morning:

97/100

chanel no5 body lotion - love this, hope more arrives as a Christmas present.

blistex - winter essential for me, used under blue Nivea

nail polish remover- this one isn’t too drying will repurchase

Hello everyone

I've fallen off the thread, but the good news is that I havent fallen off the wagon. I've used up 110 products so far this year and gifted a further 34. I have three missing products which I suspect I also gifted. So thats 147 in total. I probably have bought around 50 products, mostly in beauty boxes or from QVC that were ridiculous value. However, I havent bought a beauty box since 1st August and I'm finding that my desire to buy one is really dwindling so thats good.

I've got 7 cleansers, 7 toners, 5 eye serums (incl 2 x 30mls), 10 moisturisers, 15 single use face masks. Bah, this is after a good clear out! I have 106 items in the stash in total. This does not include make up, but does include sun screen, deodorants etc. My plan is to tackle the single use face masks over the next month. With all the partying I'm planning on doing, my poor face will need it lol.

One thing I do need, is a tinted moisturiser. My preferred brand, Pur, is out of stock. Any recommendations please?

How do you track everything? That's impressive that you know how many you've used and gifted 😍

You've not bought anything since 1st August? I must've picked up the buying baton from you then. I bought the Harrods fragrance advent calendar on 4th August and haven't stopped since 🤣 before that, I'd only bought 1 edit all year.

Does that mean you don't have a beauty advent calendar though? 😱

Hopefully someone can recommend a pur alternative for you 🩷

wheresmyshoe · 24/11/2025 23:01

I’m quite excited for what will be 100 @CorneliaStreet as there’s a few contenders!

Experiment627 · 25/11/2025 07:02

@Tarragon123you are doing so well!

The Fenty Eaze Drops are good - although a bit heavier than a tinted moisturizer.

I have an empty to report:
Rituals Soleil d'Or eau de parfum - smelled this in their Covent Garden store and fell in love. Bought the travel bottle on ebay for a fiver. Unfortunately it leaked a bit whilst on a trip and "melted" the labels off ofher toiletries 😳 I now see that it can be refilled- which is fab - but you need to be careful it is always tightly shut!

Good morning! My usual routine on a Tuesday is to go onto my Boots app as soon as I open my eyes! It’s £10 Tuesday so today there are many offers on Oral B, No7. Face creams that are usually £30 and Nip and Fab, also Neom, Opi and Collagen powder. Gifts too! Happy shopping!

wheresmyshoe · 25/11/2025 07:57

Thank you @AnonAnonmysterythose No7 creams are perfect for the Christmas beauty box I make up for my MiL. What a great price!

AnonAnonmystery · 25/11/2025 08:04

@wheresmyshoe you are welcome! Yes I keep my mum stocked up on the Lift and Luminate ones! What a sweet, personal gift you make for your Mil ❤️

LightandBreezy · 25/11/2025 14:15

I've never actually posted here before but have had this thread in mind for the last year and have been running the stash down for a while now - I'm basically posting this to keep me occupied away from Black Friday offers before I undo my year of relative restraint😂 I did buy the Harrods BAC this year, and a liberty edit ( both still untouched, the liberty edit has gone into a homemade BAC) plus I get the beauty drop every 3 months, but other than that I've really only topped up on cheapo conditioner. I finished up a 5ml Votary moisturiser today - I'm not really a fan of this brand to be honest - I like the clean ingredients aspect but I'm always underwhelmed by the performance.

OvaHere · 25/11/2025 14:31

@LightandBreezy I'm not keen on Votary either. I can't really say why, it just doesn't appeal. That's probably not a bad thing because it steers me away from a lot of the Liberty edits which include it.

LightandBreezy · 25/11/2025 15:28

Same @OvaHere it's a relief for me when I see a full-size Votary or Verden product in an edit as it means I won't buy it 😂

Yes Verden is on that list too. That's probably what stopped me buying the Liberty Advent. Glad to know I'm not alone. 😂

MyRabbit79 · 25/11/2025 16:00

Dipping back in to report more empties

Superdrug hyaluronic serum - I’ve got through a few of these and have one more to use. However I think I now prefer the Elf version

revolution miracle night cream - supposedly a dupe for Charlotte Tilbury. Too scented and sticky for me, and I usually love a heavy night cream

Burts Bees pomegranate lip balm. Lovely, would buy again.

AnnaMagnani · 25/11/2025 18:37

Joining this thread as it is full of useful recommendations.

Sadly mine is not - decided to use up all the products cluttering up the bathroom and have used up a tube of Avene Akerat as handcream.

Was absolutely brilliant and now they don't make it anymore 😥

LivingDeadGirlUK · 25/11/2025 20:54

It's a sad day ladies, I've finished my REN everclear cleansing gel. Really like this. Next up is a milky cleanser from Aldi, think its a dupe for Glossier milky jelly.

I've also chucked out an, admittedly very old, Elizabeth arden lipstick. Its kind of a pinky nude with flecks of gold in, looks lovely on its own but I'm too tanned and cool toned for it.

Francestein · 26/11/2025 07:44

I just purchased my first ever “good” eyeliner. (Victoria Beckham…) Where has this been all my life? I’m throwing every other one out now.

paristotokyo · 26/11/2025 08:27

@Francesteinooh do you like it? I’m not a huge fan, it’s too smudgy and soft for my liking. The colours are lovely though. What did you go for?

wheresmyshoe · 26/11/2025 08:34

I feel like that about my REN products too, @LivingDeadGirlUK, such a shame we’ve lost this brand.
