I’ve started getting Black Friday early access emails for 25% etc.

I've been thinking of starting on one of my 12 day calendars to finish off November / count me down to my weekend away at the end of nov. I think it'll help me get out of bed when it's dark and rainy 🤣

I don't mind that I can't repurchase a lot of the skincare in my harrods one, I've got so much in my stash and other ACs that I think I'm OK for the next few years 🤣 It gives me a small sample of the luxury life 💁🏻‍♀️ Let's just hope that 15ml is enough to make me look 10 years younger 🤞🤣

I’m annoyed that husband ordered the Space NK fragrance for me a couple of weeks ago and now there is a free gift grrr!
That said and I’m like a broken record with this, GWP’s are nothing like they used to be. I miss the GWP’s of five years ago or even three years ago, CB, SNK and Liberty used to be amazing.

Why are we still lurking when we have so many already and built our Frankensteins? 🤣

Oh yes, I liked the Elle and You ones too. I still keep looking at the Next premium one but I think I should get one that is more of a body one with scrubs, shower gels, etc.

Get the PDM one 😈 I asked my husband for it, but I'm getting a bit frustrated as the adverts on insta haven't stopped and I'd really like to try to forget about it now 😩

I've popped the SNKF in my basket, but I think I'm gonna release it and let it go 😇
I would be buying just for the sake of it. I might be tempted by a small beauty/ perfume edit if any get dramatically reduced .

@LoveLabradors yeah, I get you! I bought the SNK when it was released, I also bought the HN FAC. I thought both would sell out fast and I didn't want to miss out. I just feel like it's the price you pay to not be stressing and checking the website every day. The Harrods BAC was also reduced after I bought it 😩

Same here. I have the Harrods fragrance calendar, Harrods beauty (which I have added lots of extras from Vinted to) and DH is getting me the Jo Malone advent for Christmas, so I really do not need another fragrance calendar and wasn’t tempted before now. I get so easily swayed by a good gift with purchase though! 😣

I think the CB fragrance GWP is pretty good, (even if I am too unsophisticated to enjoy most of the perfumes!)

At least I can now say that I like at least one Creed perfume, (that Oud one was so awful, the family still talk about it 🙀)

I am trying the DS & Durga sample today - I have one from Liberty which I put up for sale, but I don’t actually mind it on a second sniff, so might put it back in its original drawer. Can anyone remind me which drawer it came from?

The fragrance calendar is great value too, so with the gwp, you're basically robbing them 💁🏻‍♀️🤣 To help with the enabling, the perfume in the SpaceNk is completely and more every day then the perfume in the Harrods calendar, so there's no reason why you can't have both 🥳🩷

Yeah, I agree, the CB fragrance gwp was really good and you didn't need to spend loads. I did need to mess around sending back the stockings I'd ordered the day before. I think I'm going to stop buying things on release day, it's annoying that they then have promotions the following day.

The GWP in SpaceNK isn't tempting me. It's all minis and I'm not a fan of minis. Plus I would have to spend another €210 overall.

Unless it gets a good reduction or a decent fragrance edit appears, I'm done. It was a shame the CB fragrance stocking didn't ship to Ireland as I really liked that. The SpaceNK cracker doesn't appeal based on the description.

So for reasons I won’t bore you with, I ended up with two M&S calendars.

Having an adult DD and two teen DNeices to buy for this Christmas, I decided to open one a day in November for 25 days, then start again in December on box 2. I am ND and absolutely will not remember what is in the box for each day!

This way I can set aside a few stocking type gifts.

Am I insane? What would others have done?

@JoRaRaRa good idea, but I don’t really want to remind myself what’s in every drawer so Liberty will still be a bit of a surprise for me as I have forgotten at least some of what’s in there. Is the list of contents on the sheet in drawer order?

Fragrance GWP was last week @OchonAgusOchonOh and @trying29 - I jumped on it without remembering that I don’t like most niche perfumes, but it was quite a generous gift.

If it makes you happy @Zempy then why not! Personally I might have taken out the gift stuff first and replaced it with stuff I wanted, but that idea only came to me from reading this thread and hearing about people substituting items in drawers!

That’s so kind of you @JoRaRaRa however, I followed your suggestion and found a short video where the presenter was just racing through drawers and skipped to it. Goodness knows what I put in the drawer as a sub - will both fit???

Can’t believe I almost sold the DS & Durga - it’s pretty nice. (That Disco one from the GWP still smells vile to me, though!)

My Liberty a/c and the refilled Shiseido 24 box are now on display in my front room. DH thinks I’m mad.

I have popped the Liberty bag over the back of a chair as a sort of cover - it looks ok.

I have presented DH with my old 12 day Clarins a/c and told him to put whatever fits from the CB Korean beauty edit in there, and to use his imagination for the rest.

I am very much leaning towards putting my Rituals wreath out on display but not opening it this year.

I must NOT buy anything else, (unless of course, there are some spectacular reductions…)
