Just mentioned it on another thread, but Cult Beauty just added a free Oribe Gold Lust set to my basket (confused what I did to qualify for it but I'll take it 😂 ). I think it was added after I added a Color Wow set to my basket.

20% off the Lego advent calendars too at Smyths, Amazon and Argos. Both the £30 now £24 franchise ones like Frozen, Star Wars and Harry Potter; and the £20 now £16 one called City and Friends. Glad I didn’t buy those on launch.

@JoRaRaRa - I am looking longingly at them and patting the Liberty one lovingly every now and then😹

It took me far longer than it should have done to explain to DH that I wanted him to open the CB Korean edit and put what would fit into the old Clarins 12 day. Even then, I had to explain that he could take something out of its box so it would fit and then do it myself 🙈

That left me with the cleansing toner and the Byoma toner mist to use now. I am annoyed that the Byoma is a spray as I cannot abide spraying things in my face and, if I had realised, I wouldn’t have bought it. Has anyone tried spraying it on hands first, then applying? There’s no point me trying pads - I never use them.

Feeling unreasonably grumpy about it - I wish I had bought something else instead 😿 (I can’t send it back as the whole box has been opened, plus I don’t want them charging me for the GWP or demanding it back.)

@IlovePond - yes you can spray it into your hands and then pat onto the skin. I’ve done it with a few that have dodgy sprays.

I need to stop reading this thread. I currently have the SNK fragrance AC in my basket along with their Shimmering Spice candle which I buy every year anyway and then I get the GWP. But the GWP isn’t great. All really small sizes. I’m not a big fragrance person either but thought I could use as gifts to take to friends in Australia in Feb. Decisions decisions!

Ordered the star wars one for ds22 yesterday. They also had an offer for €5 off when you spend more than €50 on lego sets so I bought the kingfisher, that was already discounted, for myself.

So normally I'm the biggest enabler 🤣 but here I'm going to say to not get the calendar if you're not a fragrance fan and you're not impressed with the gwp. Other deals will come up and it's a lot to spend if you're not 100% on it 🩷

could you gift one of them to someone and use the money ring fenced fir their gift to get yourself a different calendar ? Something like rituals which is 25% off in a few places.

The Boots showstopper looks like it's available on the website now, but not on the app yet I don't think 🤔

@JoRaRaRa - yes agreed. I’ve deleted them from my basket. I think I’ll wait till the sales and buy my friend a nice perfume. Or a discovery set she can try.

I've just ordered the JL beauty AC ... even though I could get Harvey Nichols with a £50 discount, I think there were more items I'll use in the JL. Plus HN had scrunchies, eyelash curlers, etc ... things I consider DOD

My boots bac that @JoRaRaRa enabled me to buy has arrived (totally not my own fault oh no)It’s actually better than I was expecting for the price and the box feels pretty solid. I’m now feeling slightly excessive because I have 2 and a half beauty advent calendars and dh was rolling his eyes enough about the first one and doesn’t even know about the others so I’m also feeling a little bit guilty. Oops! As long as I stick to not buying anything all year then it’s fine as I have actually saved money on products I would buy anyway. Or something. Question is do I proudly display all three or do I keep one in my wardrobe and sneakily open it when he’s not around?!

So I confessed my total ac number to my husband as a show was about to start so he couldn't answer 🤣 maybe you could do that? Or go to the cinema? He's actually not mentioned it to me but when we out for breakfast with some friends he told them whilst laughing so I think it's all OK. Anyway, that's my tip, tell him when he can't respond 🤣 Then display them all 🩷
