I’ve started getting Black Friday early access emails for 25% etc.

Just in case anyone is interested I’ve just ordered the M&S one as got 25% off in my sparks offers so £45 instead of £60. I was ordering some jeans and thought why not.

Is anyone else feeling irritated that these calendars don't seem to be getting properly reduced yet? 🤣 Although, probably a good thing, I think all of our banks (and husbands) will be happy about that 🤣

I feel the same and wish my potentials would either sellout or get a big discount, I am keeping my eye out for Vogue, PDM, Elle and You.
I am still weighing up Vogue, the jewellery is the big draw and for the prices on Vinted, I may as well order the calendar or PDM, I have Valaya from Harrods and have 2 x 10ml of Delina but also have Space Nk and Harvey Nichols Fragrance advents along with Perfume Shop so do not need any more fragrances.

Yes, I was thinking we might see a few more discounts by now. I remember last year being disappointing for Black Friday discounts but I think more are still available this year.
John Lewis seem to have discounts on some calendars but nothing on their own beauty advent. I think they may be hoping to sell at full price now that others have sold out. 🤔

I think Fenwick could end up discounted if it doesn’t sell out, as they have offered discounts the last few years.

The only good thing about so many being still in stock is that it has stopped me from going mad with other things as I've wanted to keep some money back just in case 🤣

@MrsBnow12 I think the PDM one could fit in nicely with your other fragrance calendars 🩷 I'm a bit disappointed though that they haven't included the hair perfume 😕

I might put on some more unboxing vids for this afternoon, see which ones I fancy if they're reduced enough. I don't want to fomo / impulse buy.

Just to derail for a moment - does anyone have a Lumie? I want it for the white noise, sunrise and sunset functions, all.of which I think will piss off DH 🤣 then I think isn't worth the money when I literally have a light and a phone alarm!?

Yes, but only the cheap one that's about £50. I actually don't use it anymore as I don't have a free plug for it 😐 so that was money well spent. Get the ACs 🤣

My teens have Lumies - just for waking up - and they like them, and they work!

I'm hoping for a discount on ASOS, I'm sure it was discounted last year.

I'm also sure Vogue wasn't discounted last year as remember looking out for it. I had a Frankenstein one but thought I'd treat myself to Vogue if it went down but it never did.

I do keep considering it as just the Tilly Sveas jewellery is almost worth it, and my 16 year old will take all the bits I don't want like the handbag charm.

APP25 on the ASOS app will get you 25%off the Charlotte Tilbury advent which comes to £131. This is the cheapest I have seen it. The code also works against a number of other things on the app.

Theres nowhere near as many unboxings of advents as there was last year. If I recall correcting.

@JoRaRaRa - thanks for the list. That is the Shiseido - from a third- party seller. Sold out on Shiseido’s own site. I am staying strong - still using up last year’s stuff!

I have a Lumie but can’t work out how to use it. DH is normally better at reading instructions/setting up appliances but it stumped him too so it’s been sitting in the cupboard for ages 🙀

The Space NK fragrance calendar is still available. I think a 25% discount, which is what HN gave on theirs, would push me in to purchasing. I would be taking a punt on the perfumes, which I don't mind on the small sizes but am a bit more nervous about with the 50ml.

Any predictions on it?

There are 2x 50mls, the Malin+Goetz Strawberry, which I didn't like and then the Dedcool Taunt which I do like. Have a look online at the notes or see if you can get to a shop to smell them 😊 I think they've put in 2 very different ones so that hopefully everyone who buys the ac will like at least 1 of the 50mls.

There is nowhere near me where I could try them out. I'm also relatively new to the whole perfume analysis thing so not sure what a lot of the notes etc mean. Before I got the HN calendar last year, perfumes were "I like it" or "I don't like it"😀

I know I'm not mad on very sweet smells and I don't like overwhelming vanilla (vanilla should be reserved for baking). However, given the strawberry one is geared to men and women, I'm assuming it isn't too sweet.

Is the Dedcool Taunt very vanillaish? I see it on fragrantica as having vanilla and amber base notes.

I have really noticed that this year. None of them have unboxed the Harvey Nicks, the Next premium or the Fenwick one. The only one I have seen unbox the Vogue is Cherry Wallis. They all seem to have gone for the same ones, like Space NK and Cult Beauty.
