🎄 2025 Style and Beauty Advent Calendar Discussion ***SPOILERS*** THREAD 9

New thread! Will this be the last thread? I think it will last two weeks and we’ll finish on a round number 10. Though Black Friday deals may mean we burn through this and 10 onto 11 and 12!

I’ve started getting Black Friday early access emails for 25% etc.

Only If you also spend another additional £100. That’s a poor offer!

This is also on my my 'possibly may buy if discounted enough' list, but I don't want to spend £100 more to only get a measly £20 off. I think I'd pay £180 for it but even then, I would be hesitant, it would depend on how much I'd spent in the days leading up to the discount 🤔

powtonharris · 17/11/2025 07:45

Anthropologie BAC sold out.
Lumene, Nuxe, Korres still available I think.

JoRaRaRa · 17/11/2025 07:50

@dc82 oh yeah, LF has now sold out. Updated in my list. I've also added the fragrance and men's into the sold out section.

The Liberty one has been saying last chance on it for the last few weeks. I think we'll see more sell out as those who haven't got one buy theirs.

At least that's taken away the temptation for you. You'll have to find some others to lust over 😜

dc82 · 17/11/2025 07:54

@JoRaRaRa I’ve already got JL, GB (for DD) and M&S (couldn’t resist the discount). But I’m still keeping an eye out just in case 😆

Yeah, the anthropologie one sold out quite a while back which surprised me. The candle one has just gone on sale if anyone wants it. I'd like it, but I think it'd have to be at least half price for me to buy it 🤔

I'm happy to add single brand calendars if people want those watching, but I'm refraining from adding everything as there's so many 🙈

🤣 Yep! I think I have enough, but I'm still on the look out for a bargain.

QueefofSheena · 17/11/2025 09:51

I forgot about the Anthropologie candle one. I keep looking at Elle as it’s got some useful items. I saw it for £109 on Saturday with a code on the Hearst website but I can’t get it to go down to that now.

XelaM · 17/11/2025 11:20

Having caught the BAC-buying mania from this thread 😜 I have so far bought 4:

(1) ASOS for my teen as an AC;
(2) Charlotte Tilbury (with a discount) for my teen as a Christmas present 💝;
(3) Ted Baker mens for my brother as a birthday gift 🎁 ;
(4) Yves Rocher for my mum (she's in Germany and I found a good deal on it over there).

But now I feel like I need to buy a BAC for myself having never had one (always buy for daughter and never for myself 😬). I am looking for a fairly inexpensive make-up -heavy BAC. Looking for any cheap deals. Not at all picky about brands as I'm very low maintenance and easily pleased. 😁

I think this link still works for £109:

Thanks @Mejera

The Face the Future festive sparkle edit has been discounted to £199.99 using code FESTIVE

The only thing I really want from that edit is the MZ Bio-placenta serum worth £340. I've never tried it so it would be a risk.

IlovePond · 17/11/2025 14:40

Thanks for the list @JoRaRaRa - I’m sure there’s more still around at this time than last year.

To add to sold out multi brand:

H&B

Still available:

Rituals
Clarins

I was quite surprised that Shiseido sold out so quickly.

Fractiontoomuchfennel · 17/11/2025 15:01

I’ve posted similar a few weeks ago but what would be your recommendation for a selling platform to sell my full Liberty AC? I’m nervous about selling such an expensive item. Vinted is the platform I’m most familiar with but I don’t feel it’s appropriate for this type of item.

Willow742 · 17/11/2025 15:03

The accessorize calendars have gone to 50% off online now, just bought the girls' jewellery one for my niece 😊

I’ve sold quite expensive items on vinted but o my to around £150.
Would you consider selling individually? You’d get £10 at least for the perfumes, £20 ish skin creams.

Talisin · 17/11/2025 15:32

Think the Kiko Milano advent has sold out online now as it’s only offering in store stock checking.

For an item of this size and value I would use Ebay over Vinted. I also think AC are against Vinted's T&Cs for some reason so the listing might get removed.

If you are selling at face value or for slightly less maybe consider a local FB group and specify cash on collection only.

if you were looking to sell, I'd be interested! I was going to take the plunge this coming weekend and their CS have confirmed it is also now sold out in store

I probably should but I’m too lazy! 🤣
I actually love the idea of somebody getting the intact calendar as I’ve not even opened it properly, just half shimmied it out of the box to confirm Liberty did indeed send me a calendar and not a set of shelves or something.

Yes I’ve seen a couple appear on Vinted then disappear very fast. I’m not sure why it’s ok to sell the individual items but not the whole thing. Facebook marketplace with COD would be an option but I don’t know if I can face the madness. I’ve had some ‘interesting’ experiences with Facebook marketplace.

IlovePond · 17/11/2025 17:12

@Fractiontoomuchfennel I would use eBay too. I sold a ‘spare’ H&B calendar on there a few years ago. I know it’s not the same sort of cost, but, as a seller as well as a buyer, I would feel a bit more confident on eBay.

If that’s what you end up doing, I would only sell to someone with lots of good feedback and to a residential address.

Growlybear83 · 17/11/2025 17:15

@FractiontoomuchfennelI agree with what other people are saying and would suggest you use eBay. For whatever reason, you’re not allowed to sell advent calendars of any sort on Vinted and your listing is likely to get removed. Before I realised this a couple of years ago, I listed an empty box which was removed . I thought it had been taken down by mistake and relisted it, and was threatened with having my account closed.

Thelifeofawife · 17/11/2025 17:54

@Fractiontoomuchfennel Agree with others that eBay would be the way to go.
I always sell expensive items on there rather than Vinted because you can choose Royal Mail and ensure you’ve got adequate compensation amount.
I sold a BAC last year and had no issues. Just make sure you sell to someone who has good feedback

dc82 · 17/11/2025 18:01

Just had a notification that LF is now back in stock for anyone still after it 😊

Batoutofhellish · 17/11/2025 18:30

Saying coming soon on their website
