Not daily, but I would like a luxury BAC and have a look at the contents sometimes. There’s not actually things I really want in the Vogue, same goes for Liberty. There were some drawers in the F&M I really wanted, Cult Beauty was good for me but the box was so ugly. Sorry I’m a broken record!

I’m genuinely interested in the maths of why the M&S BAC isn’t worth £45. That’s £1.80 per item and there’s quite a few full sizes. What are people comparing to? Cos I want to know so I can get it 😂

I still haven't got the m&s £45 BAC code. Is it a code? Maybe I'm not looking in the right place. Or maybe they don't want me to have it 😮‍💨

No but I’m checking Liberty very regularly. I really really dont need another BAC but I could be tempted if the men’s calendar is reduced significantly.

I'm not checking on any calendars, I'm just relying on you lot to tell me of any discounts 🤣 I do check beauty detective and beauty calendars regularly and report of any discounts on those pages that we've not spotted yet.

@powtonharris I ordered in the app and the delivery charge was removed automatically when I checked out.

@BakeOffRewatch - tbf, M&S is ‘worth’ far more than £45.

I am bored this morning so just looked up how much everything would cost separately - assuming you shopped around for the cheapest, (which I did). I ignored anything that wasn’t available in the calendar size, (not much, to be fair), and got a value of: £274.

Not bad at all.

However, I don’t know if it’s ‘worth it’ for me, because I have some of those products already, and others I am not interested in or dislike.

Sadly, I do know that if I liked the box, I would be more tempted!

I get free delivery on the discounted m and s bac when I go to checkout. I am so tempted.

I bought the M&S BAC in 2023 and 2024 (£40/£45), and although it was a bit 'samey' I preferred the items to this year and loved the vanity bags (which I still use) to the box, so maybe I'm when I compare them to this years I find it lacking. Good at the reduced price now if you've not had it before though.

I think for me most of the things would disappear into a pile of stuff that always gets pushed to the back and never used. I need to price up the bits I would use to see if it’s worth getting

Are these 7 items ‘worth’ £45 to me?

It’s the perfume, jewellery and a few other bits in Vogue that I’m interested in. I still regret not being fast enough for the NAP lantern when it was finally reduced to a realistic price a couple of years ago.

For me, it's not worth £45 because there are things I would rather buy with £45. It's obviously good value in terms of cost per item, but that's only worth it to you if you want the items. I've had M&S before, I'm not slating it, but agree with PP that once you've had it a couple of times it gets repetitive.

I think M&S is a bargain at £45. Lots of us jumped on the Made for an Icon box when it had 20% off but that only had seven items in it for £24 if I remember correctly. This is 24 items for £45 so better value. I think you should get it @IlovePond

I’m seriously tempted now @SmashingGemini having been very dismissive of it earlier. @BakeOffRewatch‘s question made me look at it properly.

I think those who are saying it’s a bit disappointing cos it’s samey are right - I am so tired of Colour Wow and Percy stuff and PawPaw and NUXE - I don’t use any of these and M&S seem obsessed with them! It would be different, of course, if these were favourites of mine!

It’s also quite hard to get past those three ‘accessories’…

The only thing I passed on in the Made for an Icon set was the perfume, as it smelt awful on me. I use everything else and adore the face oil. It was well worth £30. The BAC i have no interest in as i already have the products or have tried a lot of the brands already. There isn't a single product in the calendar that is calling out to me.

It's a good calendar if the products are brands you rate or want to try though.

@IlovePond Color WOW is very popular with teens if you have any to buy for - it would make a good stocking gift. My daughter absolutely loves it 💝

Quidco are doing £50 bonus on Harvey Nichol. Don't know if it stacks with the discount but might be worth it if anyone is considering buying the HN calendar

Hmm, now I’m contemplating M&S for my mum ( who asked why I’d done dsis a diy and not her!!), taking a few things out and replacing with things she’d use 🤔problem is we’re all away for Christmas and prob can’t take it with me so not sure how or when I’d get it to her!
