@BakeOffRewatch I'm leaning towards m and s. Haven't had it before either, so no repetition. I can pass the hand cream on as a present and I might enjoy the rest!

I’ve ordered JL. Copying far more learned members of this thread I’d actually created a spreasheet comparing ACs and I’d use most of this one so it came out on top. I also already ordered glossybox for DD so I’m going to do a couple of switch abouts in the boxes. I’m not buying any more…….,unless there is a decent reduction …….or I have a moment of madness

Does anyone know what number the red lipstick is in the Harrods calendar? I won’t use it so thinking of selling it on now and putting in something different.
Any suggestions for a great under eye product to try?

I also sold the red lipstick from my Harrods calendar. It sold quite quickly on Vinted.

Oh that's exciting that JL is out today. The box is lovely but it's not on my short list. I best just double check though 😇🤣
I will also pick up m&s if I end up buying some stuff there. I did reject it at first and went and bought the bra and pants I'd been holding off buying. But then I looked at it again and decided that I actually think it's really good value and I will use a lot of the products, even if I've used some before.

Yeah, so did mine. I think I might've listed it for a bit low in price, but oh well, it's gone now and normally I wouldn't sell anything so had I not found this thread, it would've just gathered dust on the shelf. I also sold the rodial blush drops, those sold fast as well 😁

I think my husband has ordered me the PDM AC, he asked me which free samples I'd like from them. I picked oriana and Cassili, then the purple one for the welcome gift 🥰 I wish they had the oriana in the AC, or that it had been available for the 5ml welcome gift. I also really liked that one when I tried them in the shop.

I’m not sure what to do, I’m planning on buying JL but rewards reset tomorrow and I know there have been advent discounts in the past 🤔

That’s good to know. I have sold the lipstick and the setting powder (I have one from another calendar and rarely use it) and gave my friend at work the beauty blender. I might sell the blush drops too as I don’t often use blusher. I have bought far more extra bits than I have sold though! 😳

I have the Harrods beauty (plus extra bits from Vinted) and the Harrods fragrance so am wondering if I can justify any more. The beauty calendar has been bought as a birthday present from DH so I have only bought one myself. 🤔

I would wait and see what your rewards are. I don’t think it will sell out in the next few days and you might kick yourself if they do offer a good reward.
I got a good discount on the JL 2 years ago - I think I got £20 off.

It doesn’t tend to sell out quickly.

The JL calendar isn’t bad for me. Apart from the ubiquitous lash serum 🙀 I would use everything else except maybe the perfumes because they’re unknown to me.

However, it just doesn’t seem exciting, ifyswim. £235 is a heck of a lot to pay for a high street calendar without any of the excitement of what I think of as the ‘high end fantasy brands’ such as the creams in Harrods or Liberty.

If it was £150-ish like it used to be, it would already be on its way to Pond mansions.

@2025istheyeari - I am 99.99% sure you’re safe to leave it until Rewards come out tomorrow. (Although you would get a Golden Ticket if you buy it today!)

I’ve ordered the JL! Very excited! No more researching, dithering, writing lists.
JL has been my front-runner for ages. Probably only a couple of products I’m not over the moon about but not DODs….Elizabeth Arden handcream eg, not a brand I’m drawn to but the product will probably be serviceable. And the bright red lipstick I’ll donate.
I’m officially done.
I have JL and LF Fragrance, can’t wait for December 😀

I don't have many (in comparison to RHOBAC standards), I have the Harrods fragrance - sold the Nishane.

The Harrods beauty - sold the mac lipstick and blush drops, replaced with lipstick set from Look Fantastic ac and the Ct setting spray from sephora ac (vinted purchases), I might change the setting spray to one of the many blushes that I've bought from vinted in the last few weeks 🙈

I also bought the SpaceNk calendar, sold 16 products. I've bought products from all the other calendars to put in. I'm going to order it properly today but I've tried to put them into the right day that they are meant to come out of their calendar. I do want the Medik8 night cream from the JL calendar, so I'm hoping I can pick that up on vinted, probably along with some other stuff that I absolutely need 😇

I don't think the 12 day calendars count as a proper AC 🤣 the PDM one starts from day 25, so the numbers on the doors are 25, 26, 27 up to 31 😁 so it is designed to be a run up to nye.

@MonkeyTennis34 - the EA handcream smells extremely medicinal, but has turned out to be excellent for treating insect bites and very dry or itchy skin!

Under no circumstances would I regard it as a beauty product, but it has turned out to be quite a useful first aid item.

I haven’t been following this thread this year (life is chaos), but wanted the Harrods advent for my sister - just went to buy it and now it’s sold out!

Is it likely to be restocked does anyone think? I need to be more organised….

Dithering here. I’ve got a £10 voucher off £220 Plus spend with JL that expires today. Do I buy advent today or hope that a better deal comes along?!

@Piccalino3 -Harrods doesn’t usually come back in stock. It might be worth calling round the H Beauty stores to see if any are still in-store. Whether they would then agree to post one to you, is a different matter 🤷‍♀️

I don't think it'll be restocked, but last year Look Fantastic told me that they weren't restocking the grooming ac and then they did (so the husband ended up with 2 😒). Are you able to get to Harrods or hbeauty? They probably still have them in store. It's only just sold out due to the 10% off this weekend.

I think if you like JL and think you'll end up buying it anyway, it'll be good to buy today with your voucher.

However, if the products aren't for you and you're just getting it because you can save £10 on it, then it really isn't a good deal. Have a good look at it and the products because it's a big spend and you don't want buyers remorse.

I've ordered JL . So I have Liberty and JL . I was going to look at SNKF but think I'll wait and use beauty drop credit if Liberty do a scent edit near Christmas like last year .

For my make up obsessed 14-year old, I'm looking for a make up calendar for less than £100 - which still holds qualitative products. Does something like that exist? Last year I bought her the cheaper one from Sephora and it was great, but this year she'd like to have only/mostly make up. From what I've seen from the thread there are calendars from Essence, Kiko, L'Oreal, Revolution etc. that may fit the bill but as I am rather clueless: what would you recommend?
