Agree socks are still expensive @Snowyowl78 but the wool ones are so great for wearing round the house - so warm.

I got a Toast voucher . I’m going to try and sit on it until the next drop.
Hope Santa has brought you all something you wanted.

I opened my annual cracker and furoshiki box today - containing a small but cute paper decoration that I have just popped on the tree and three little pencils respectively. The pencils are a bit meh but the cloth wrapping is nice.

We are doing a big Nigella Lawson Christmas ham - still cooking - It's supposed to go in the oven but only for 15 minutes so hopefully it'll just look a bit wierd but will still be edible!

There’s a gremlin at work . We had similar a couple of years ago and then on two different Christmas Days the CH packed up .

Noticed today that Uniform Research has a sale and there are a few bits of Toast there that aren’t on sale at actual Toast.

@OftenOrange - ouch - no central heating is a bit bleak!! Yesterday we were saying 'at least it's not like the time we all had norovirus'.
Thank you for the Uniform Research tip @Snowyowl78 - there are several tempting things there! I will wait and see what the emergency response part of my home insurance says about my cooker when/if they ever make it before anymore sale spending.

Also Ruskin has their sale. A few Toast items on it which aren’t in the current sale.

@Snowyowl78thank you for the Uniform Research info, I have ordered the Orla Donegal jumper. They only had a small left and I have my fingers crossed it is big enough. Does anyone know how this fits?

Anyone got the mohair round cardigan? Reviews are inconclusive about sizing!

Having ordered everything separately thinking that would speed up despatch after my last experience, the first thing to be despatched is the last thing I ordered. I shouldn’t try to be clever! There’s no second guessing the system 😄

My sale order arrived, only 3 items but 2 are going back. The skirt has a really obvious flaw where the waistband has been sewn on incorrectly, and the tee is too tight on my neck, I don’t think a bigger size would work as the shoulders would be too big.
I’m keeping the Kantha waistcoat as that is lovely, although unfortunately dry clean only.

Not posted for quite a while but have been following. Received first part of my order this morning. Will keep the Archivist dress in blue, I already have the other colour and love it.

Also got the Baya shirt in Dappled Leaves, but not made mind up about that. I’m waiting for dress in same fabric so will decide once I’ve tried that. Finally, got the Mineral check trousers which I really want to keep, but crotch is super low. I am thinking of taking them into tailor when they reopen to see what they can do.

@Snowyowl78 I have the mohair cardigan. I sized up. My normal size fit but somehow looked like nothing special, but more ease in the bigger size made it look so much better. I think one of the reviews says similar.

Part of my order arrived today - the long sleeved stripe tee in Delft/ecru. I have the small and the medium. Only briefly tried on and I think I prefer the medium fit but I want to wait for the brass tees which worryingly are still marked as unfulfilled

Still Life Print Pjamas …Love , 😍My perfect print and a lovely lightly woven stubby cotton. Probably save to wear pottering around on hot days to start with.

Japanese Slim Indigo Denim Jeans, Like a lot , roomy and comfortable and so different to my usual Annies . However the shape is odd; a bit of a of a barrel shape on the outside leg and a slight flare on the inside leg resulting in a weirdly slanting hem
They don’t look odd off the body so it must be me! I’m going to reorder to see if another pair is better as I love the general vibe.

My first parcel also arrived. @faustina my long sleeve tee too - it’s really lovely and thick material, but am not sure if I’ll keep it. Am wondering if I need to try a size bigger, or whether I should ditch the bold stripes against my very muted, warm complexion.

The thin stripes of the cotton linen easy sweater are maybe better, but I think someone here tried this before and there was an issue with some of the joining stitching catching the eye. I’ll post a pic here of mine - am wondering whether the stitching is okay or whether I’m just being overly particular about things. Am I being ridiculous?

I also had the Boston clogs, but with thick socks they feel oddly small and not sure I can size up in these as I’d imagine they’d be too big. Birkenstocks have never really worked for me, have people found these true to size?

@CakeAndJazz - I know what you mean about that stitching - it looks faulty to me. It’s not something I could personally ‘unsee’ once I had noticed it.

My first order arrived today without warning:

Gabi trousers in Toffee fitted but I dislike the colour and the crotch was too low and baggy. I looked like I was wearing a nappy!

The seaweed nightie in M was ok - a bit too big.

Somehow Toast managed to send me an XS in the matching pj bottoms- so that was an immediate fail 🙀

All going back.

I might reorder the Seaweed nightie and pj bottoms if other sizes are still available but the greenish-yellow colour wasn’t doing much for me, tbh.

It’s frustrating @IlovePond as it just continuously catches my eye now, and if there’s one thing I wanted in the sale it’s that sweater. Anyway, will hope for some returns and will try to re-order.

Sounds like you’ve not had much luck either. I wonder when they’ll be uploading some new items…

Did everyone who's already got things pay for next day delivery? I ordered two things soon after the sale started on Monday, only one has been despatched so far!
I'm beginning to feel a bit bored by them already,will probably send them back.

@oddandelsewhere - the 'bored' comment made me chuckle as I'm feeling the same about my second order (despatched but not yet received by Royal Mail).

@oddandelsewhere - I feel exactly the same, bored! I only ordered a little silk bandana but it looks as though it’s a gorgeous colour and worth trying. Ordered 23 December, not yet despatched. I tried to see if I could cancel the order but couldn’t see how. In contrast, the Finisterre jumper I ordered on 24th is being delivered tomorrow.

I haven't got anything from the list I posted below yet.

Also I keep hoping they will put some more items in the sale as most things are sold out in my size S/M, even if I did have another browse for bits.
