The regulars on the thread mainly discuss luxury BAC and this dies down by September when everyone has purchased and forgotten the contents. Then it goes into discussion on what’s selling out, what hasn’t and what deals and discounts to be had on ACs in the lead up to December. Then in December we move onto AC opening threads!

Space NK seems a bit of a mess. I signed up with my two emails - my main email I signed up months ago (when they first put the waitlist page up) and haven’t received an email with a slot. The second email I signed up last week and I’ve got an email with 9-11am slot. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme nor reason to the allocations.

I signed up on 12 August and got given 11-1 slot so clearly their logic is screwed up. Others on TikTok got higher slots if they promoted it. After several hours of seething/stewing, I've decided I'd rather spend the £260 with another retailer to stick it up them. No doubt they won't care as it will eventually sell out, but I hold grudges against retail brands, and they've just lost my beauty loyalty.

I'm tempted. Bad timing if I'm buying SNK tomorrow though.

@RainbowZebraWarrior I'm awaiting my assessment for ADHD but strongly suspect that's the reasoning for my fomo too

I signed up ages ago to the spacenk waitlist but don't have an email. I'm also working tomorrow so if it sells out, it sells out. Im not a fan of their marketing technique.

The way I read it you'll get your early access email between those times but you can buy it any time from then. I don't think it will sell out tomorrow, although who can tell?

My initial reaction to Space NK was it was good value but not for me as not exciting (probably because I had it last year and it's a similar brand line up). However, none of them are exciting me this year so at the moment I'm thinking I might get it as it is a good value way to stock up. I would use everything, except probably the AB retinol serum because I could probably get a reasonable amount on Vinted for that, and I already use and like the Medik8 retinal.

I think the Face The Future edit is amazing. The Jewels palette looks beautiful for Festive Season.

I like the way Liberty do it. Contents released to BD members in June. Time to think about it before pre-orders. Pre-orders available for a whole month. Then release online and in store. You get time to choose and decide. And the box is beautiful. Too bad I don’t want what’s in it this year.

I think it looks amazing too. But I just want everything 🤣 I love decree treat tincture and the AB rich cream. The mz skin - someone posted a link in another thread and it's insane value. The allies of skin cleanser is full size and worth about £76. I'm going to have to do some serious pondering and get up early tomorrow to spreadsheet it 🤣 I wonder if they accept klarna 🤔

The last couple of years I’ve had the Cult Beauty, but I’m very close to going for SpaceNK this year - I would use at least 75%
The only thing putting me off is that I like a bumper Christmas Day drawer, and this only has one paltry lip gloss!!!

The decree is the only thing that I will pay full price at that price for 🤣 it is really good. I've had 5 bottles of it. I don't really like the day AM serum, but the treat tincture is 🔥

Hey @OvaHere I’m a sucker for premium skincare so harrods makes sense for me …but I really wanted the medik8 and tatcha from Snk….I may get Snk and flog the bits I dont want on vinted (but that feels like a faff) that face the future edit looks good too ! 😜

I have received my early access email to both of the Boots calendars.

I've had early access emails for the Boots advent calendars too. Also had one for the Charlotte Tilbury calendar, early access is available on the app.

Think TWC would make a nice gift - looks decent

I had another look at the boots skincare advent . I do think it is good value and would be great for splitting for stocking fillers or stockpiling items for the year but 24 days of skincare is a lot of cleansers and creams I think it would lack excitement opening it everyday.
