Weirdly styled / posed photos...

Have you ever been online shopping and come across a picture and wondered what the heck? I was just browsing next online and came across this photo. Im not looking for jeggings but was rather searching 'new in' so maybe this is how jeggings look in the crotch area?

Oh yes jeggings never look great in the crotch area! I’m surprised they sell any nowadays though, they’ve been officially ‘out’ for a long time now.

That’s how they look on. Bought a pair years ago and never wore them in public.

I used to wear similar pair about 12 years ago 😱always with a longer top that covered that area. Very comfy if you don't like typical jean material.

Yes! I bought this shirt last week but the way it's styled with these shorts online is just a really odd combo I think. Bras are usually the worst, they never fit the model.

Marks and Spencer are really bad for this . The models are contorted into such weird poses that you have no idea what some of the garments look like .

No, lots and lots stores do it! I remember buying a stunning ‘of my dreams jacket’ and spent ages looking at the photos on ASOS and based on the size and height they said model was and she was wearing a small, thought well I’m definitely a bit thicker than her so will get a M and then when it arrived it was like a tent lol. So confused,I rechecked the photos and noticed all poses had it slightly off shoulder and much of the jacket material pushed to the back. So I actually needed an XS which explained why all those sizes were gone when I had first placed my order a while back 😭. So annoying!

Zara is hilarious for this. I once looked at a dress and all of the pictures of it being worn were of the model striding down a street. The traffic was in focus, the model was not!

Weird poses and 'arty' styling drive me crackers! What help to most women is a size 6, leggy 6ft model who could also be a contortionist act at the weekends. They also look totally bloody miserable or even furious.

I want them to stand up straight so I can see how the dress / trousers hang! Now from the side, now from the back and then a close-up on the fabric. Job done!

I agree with @winnieanddaisy about M&S - they've become so ridiculous that my friends and I delight in sending each other the most crackpot poses.

Yeah the stretched out/lounging about/slumped over on dining room style chairs pics annoy me.

All I notice about fashion photos is (a) that I would look shit in the clothes, (b) that I can't imagine anyone else not looking shit in them either, and (c) that the model looks really fucking miserable, possibly because of (a) and (b).

Yes agreed and it's so annoying, ASOS is another one that does this fuck wittery, it's no more than vanity on the retailers part "look how edgy we are" kind of thing, I couldn't give a stuff, just show me the outfit how it would look on day to day basis..

I love Batsheva styling. That's not by any means the oddest and you can see the dress.
