Well style mavens, that last thread went quickly! Let's hope we get more royal fashion to analyse. I think we need some tiara action, though.

I don't know about everyone but Catherine's was apparently presented yesterday and is the Order of Merit.

Yes Catherine was wearing a blue rosette, couldn't make one out on the Queen.

Charles has had his red rosette pin for a while, certainly preceding his visit to France in 2023 as he arrived wearing it. Of course here on this thread we're always agitating for more, more, more in terms of new fantastic bling and/or orders and so on but actually it makes good sense that the Royal Houses/Heads of State/Governments pace themselves so that there is ample opportunity for bestowing an honour in relation to big events or celebrations.

Elephant and other wild animals - think I can see antelope and mongoose. The marks in between the animal groups are birds flying about.

I'm new to these threads, I am intrigued by the tiara spreadsheet, is it just a list, is it full, does it have pictures? How did you divi them up?

I have name changed as well, but I have been on these threads since the beginning. I wanted Princess Anne's Meander tiara, but it was already taken. It's still my absolute all time favorite.

It is The Spreadsheet of Splendour. You choose a tiara or two plus other bling. It started years ago when we all started to chat about what tiara we'd like to wear! Not limited to the UK, or even royal provenance. We wear them often.

She was out this morning taking the Macrons for a tour of the gardens in Windsor before farewelling them and packing them off to the Starmers

Yes, it must be years since we started it. Remember we also decided to choose one of Kate's green coats to wear because she had that many! 😄

Don't worry I used up all the spare green coats to make one for me. I doubt my arm would fit in a Kate sized coat let alone my body so I would need the fabric from at least 4!

I was thinking earlier that Kate wore Dior yesterday and Chanel when she was in France a couple of years ago. Have we seen Mme Macron in Catherine Walker or similar? I doubt it but thought I would ask.

I didn’t realize green coats were up for grabs. I will take all the spare ones. I have green eyes and autumnal colours are my thing.

That's a lovely dress on Camilla. And that is a gorgeous suit on Brigette. I just love the arm length - perfect.

Camilla’s late brother Mark Shand was very into elephant conservation. Maybe the dress is a tribute to him?

Camilla looked lovely at Wimbledon. My DH said "why are there 3 Camillas in the Royal Box?". She was seated between her sister, and Debbie Jevans. They did look similar.

TBH - I don't think she was being "unfriendly" yesterday - the press are enjoying pushing the narrative after the plane kerfuffle a few weeks ago. They seem to have made a big deal of her not taking his hand yesterday on the plane steps.

However if I were coming down plane steps in very high heels and had the choice of a rock solid metal handrail or a, possibly shaky, human hand then I would go for the metal handrail everytime. In fact I did just that last week to DH coming out of the opticians.

Going back to the state dinner, Ruby jewels would have looked fabulous on Kate with that dress.

I loved the colour of the dress but not the Cape and the high neckline together - she looked a bit swamped in fabric.
A lower neckline would allow for some beautiful rubies she has - see pics of matching necklace and earings. She has a Ruby ring to match as well somewhere. And Ruby tiara to finish would have been perfect!
