I’m clueless about k beauty so will give this one a miss. Feel like I ought to investigate more and move with the times but I just can’t-,I’m already the embarrassed owner of a stash that I can never use. Another avenue would be dangerous!

I’m fully expecting the advent spoilers to start coming out in force now- I’m so looking forward to perusing and comparing- my favourite pastime for the next couple of months. I love it more than the actual opening 😁.

I’ve never bought YesStyle before, but I’ve had a Stylevanna calendar for the past couple of years and haven’t found it difficult to buy. They restock multiple times and usually have a discount code.

The year before @BakeOffRewatch . I wasn't tempted last year, but the year before was absolutely fantastic! I still use a lot from it.

I am guessing Harrods will soon be available for pre order. I got the Harrods calendar last year and really enjoyed it.

I've had a look at the YesStyle one and it's not for me. Way too much make-up.

My dd would love it though - I’m contemplating if I can face this competitive AC challenge!

Does anyone know around when the Harrods fragrance advent might be released? I know it sells out very fast

Mine probably would too. Mind you, they have a lot more time and opportunities to use up all the make-up. I have more than enough to see me out. The only things I can see me ever needing to buy again are foundation and possibly primer.

@pinkchampagne1 i checked this yesterday and bought mine (Harrods fragrance) last year on the 7th August not sure if it will be released that early this year

I was talking to Harrods Customer Services on Friday about a problem I’m having logging into my account and mentioned the advent calendars. The person I spoke to said that the release date had t been agreed yet, but it will presumably be quite soon.

I'm interested in trying the Charlotte Tilbury calendar this year. But no idea when it comes out or how good it is in terms of value for money.

Did the Harrods fragrance and regular calendar get released at the same time last year? I have had Liberty for the last few years but fancy both Harrods this year. I always ask my Dd to see what the products are and if it would be something I would like so it’s all a surprise for me.

@Isabelle70 they did release their Harrods normal advent at the same time but that didn’t sell out until early September from what I remember. I ordered it 4th September and I think it sold out soon after this

The CT chest of drawers always look lovely. Based on reviews it's not the best value for money as it's usually a 12 day, most items are minis and it's not the best price to worth ratio - last year £170 for value of £243.

I've read it is a bit samey if you buy it every year. But if you've never had it before that doesn't matter and they may do something totally different this year.

It launched 10/9 on the app last year. I don't think they usually sell out and may even get discounted post Xmas. Someone can correct me on that if I'm wrong.

I was scrolling on tiktok when I came across the 2024 beautycrop advent calendar on sale for £50. The price can vary on tiktok and last time i checked you could get another 10% off.The listing does say the boxes could be damaged but mine came today and is in perfect condition. I had originally thought I would just open it straight away and use the items myself but I've decided to pack it away and give it to my niece. It's a gamble as boxes could be damaged but you could always use them as stocking fillers or in gift baskets if not purchasing for yourself. Thought I would share incase anyone else wanted to pick one up.

They seem to get earlier and earlier each year.
I associate them more with early autumn than Christmas

I don’t really need more perfumes but still felt I had missed out last year. 😆

Thought would join the thread as I enjoyed the chat last year - but am going to try to resist actually buying a calendar this year to continue getting my stash under control. I got the Harrods calendar last year which I really enjoyed.

I've been really good with 'no buy' on beauty so far this year - except for a lapse on fragrance (Cult Beauty did some fab edits back in March and I bought a couple).

I am also working through my stash. I know I won’t be able to resist an advent calendar though. Am hoping Harrods will be as good as it was last year.

@Stoic123 - I’m the same. I enjoy the chat but really don’t need a calendar. I did a bit of a sort out and had to bin quite a bit a sit was so old which is ridiculous. So I need to concentrate on using what I have. And not buying any more! I’ll avoid looking at anything related to the M&S one though and might get that if I’m feeling hard done by!
