In case anyone hasn’t seen it, you can get points for recycling empties in boots (and blister packs)…I’m trying to get rid of some things too…

So glad these threads are back. I had the money to buy 2 big ACs but paid off my credit card instead. However I then won some premium bond money so fate clearly wants me to join in 😂

Tempted by Liberty due to the La Mer lip balm. The others I'd consider are Cult Beauty, SpaceNK, Selfridges and Sephora but I'll be keeping a close eye on things. I'll be interested to see what Flannels do as I got their beauty cracker last year and that was really nice.

I do have a ridiculous stash so probably shouldn't buy any.

I have a huge stash from the last two years. I really, really shouldn’t buy any this year but ………….. 🤷‍♀️

I put whatever I won’t use into the family Christmas stockings! Still end up with a ridiculous stash though!

I wonder if E.L.F. will do one? That would be DD's dream. I'm currently looking for bargainous boxes to get to make one myself for her (thank you, Elle) but I know doing that does get expensive however hard I hunt for treasures!

Joining the thread for advent calendar anticipation! I'm also wondering if this is the year for a fragrance calendar so interesting to see other posters looking at these too.

On the above: a slightly downbeat warning that there are some limits on the Boots blister pack scheme. You have to register and then you get a code to redeem 100 points when you've spent £5.

@JustWhatIAlwaysWanted the beauty one is a bit of a faff too but in general I’m glad these can be recycled. Good to know re blisters

Harrods was always on my definite list- last year was brilliant-,and these sneak peaks do not disappoint. It won’t stick around long, that’s for sure.

Yes I'm a mix of excited and anxious. SpaceNK is the other I'm interested in but will probably have to make a decision on Harrods without knowing what SpaceNK is offering. I think both the Harrods Beauty and the fragrance will be on pre order in next 7 days.

I really didn't want to end up with multiple calendars but if SNK is good too...😳

I’m excited by this! I just checked my bank account and I paid for the fragrance calendar in the early hours of 10 August, so I suspect it will go on sale next Saturday night. I was going to try to stick to fragrance calendars this year, but I might be tempted by the main harrods calendar - I really regretted not getting it last year. I’ve still got a huge horse of cleaners and other things from the last two years thst I’ll never use, but I’m weak willed 😆😆

Harrods last year was a real treat - some outrageously expensively priced items that have been fun to try.

Harrods looks good but I agree that a lot of the spoilers appear to be small sizes. No mention of the EGF power serum this year, which I love.
Last year’s calendar was a real treat so I was hoping for similar this year. Guess we won’t have to wait long now to find out. 🙂

It was instore but the Penhaligons outlets do some online stuff in a really weird way through WhatsApp. Have a look online - you usually need to contact a store and they then send you a list.

Is Harrods the fragrance calendar that is oud heavy?
Is that the woody/aftershave-like smell?
If so, I’ll look for a different one.

I believe Harrods fragrance calendar does tend to be oud heavy. Still in 2 minds whether to go for it as I have never had one before and it seems really popular, but not sure I need more perfume. 🤔
Hoping to get the Harrods beauty calendar if it is as good as last year.

I think the Harvey Nicks fragrance calendar was a nice alternative last year
