That's fantastic. It's like she's landed from the future.

If she was wearing it at any other event it might be considered unusual. But somehow it absolutely worked in the sea of dullness! Not many people could carry it off so brilliantly.

MotherofPearl · 25/06/2025 10:09

Thoughts and prayers for poor Max and Wax having to host DJT. 😬 She looks amazing in those photos!

Tablefor4 · 25/06/2025 15:03

I love the mum vibes that Max is giving off in the photo with Trump talking to their daughter. She's already saying something, helping the daughter answer the no doubt ridiculous things that he's coming out with.

gingercat02 · 25/06/2025 15:18

Saw Max on the news this morning. Perfect outfit in a sea of navy. Sending peaceful vibes to the Orange household while putting up with the Donald

Sidebeforeself · 25/06/2025 16:04

Max looks fab. I’d love our POW to try more daring styles like this

Papergirl1968 · 25/06/2025 20:16

There is an article on Max and her style in the royal section of the Mail online. I’ve forgotten how to do links…

Great, thank you, @TracyBeakerSoYeah
Here’s Eugenie at the Tate Modern’s 25th anniversary gala.

Eugenie looks like she is wearing Victorian undergarments. That's a very odd outfit for someone short and curvy.

I think the skirt part of Eugenie's outfit is quite nice and summery, but I think the top part isn't quite right, maybe it's the peplum. It looks quite informal for the Tate Gala.

I agree and the colour isn’t great with her pale skin.

Thinlyveiled · 26/06/2025 08:34

I don’t like that outfit at all. It does her no favours. I thought she had a job? How does she get all this time off to swan around and who pays for it?

HonoriaBulstrode · 26/06/2025 08:45

How dare she have an evening out. She should be working 14 hours a day, with never a day off.

WorkingRoyalNotTwerkingRoyal · 26/06/2025 09:06

FGS take your snide comments elsewhere. People with jobs have time off, didn't you know 😱😱 and princesses do tend to have sufficient funds for 'swanning around' as you put it.

Tedious.

There are numerous threads for you to discuss that sort of thing. Leave us to the fun of fashions and fripperies and choose any one of them to complain to your heart's content!

CurlewKate · 26/06/2025 09:18

I had an outfit quite like Eugenie’s in the 1970s. But underwear was a trendy look then!

Cassiope · 26/06/2025 09:25

Totally agree about the Victorian underwear vibes and that it's not as glam as I would have expected for a gala. But I do think the peplum waist suits her.

I'm puzzled as to why her pendant is hidden in her cleavage - seems a complete waste of a neckline that actually allows plenty of room for a lovely long-chained pendant.

Haha I remember that

smilesy · 26/06/2025 09:36

I don’t think the shape of Eugenie’s outfit is too bad actually. It shouldn’t work on her, but it does weirdly. She has done that model “cross the legs” pose though so that might be helping. I do agree that it looks a bit too flimsy and casual for the occasion, more suited to a barbecue than a gala

Choose your thread. This one is about frocks and jewels.

We're having to push back way too much on this thread. I'm going to start reporting as these comments are not in the spirit of these threads - which people know full well by now - and it's really rude to come here and be obnoxious.

You may be surprised to learn that I agree!🤣

WorkingRoyalNotTwerkingRoyal · 26/06/2025 10:01

Haha @CurlewKate! Nah we're cool. It's just nice to have somewhere chilled and not too serious, isn't it.

Bringing it back to fashion, Mary has been visiting Nigeria the past few days; not the best photo but it's all I can find just now.

Also a fun one of Prince Christian, background painted by him as a child.
