Anne has been massively out and about as usual, as she also attended the Lincolnshire Show, which we went to. Didn't spot her unfortunately, but I love that she supports the countryside in this way.

Here's Leti in a green linen Mango trouser suit. I like the colour. She's wearing the low heeled black patent slingbacks, which I don't think are a good match for this outfit. Good that she's finding low heeled stylish shoes.

Letizia is completely swamped by that suit - the trousers are too long and the shoulders too wide for her petite frame. I agree, nice textured fabric and colour though.

Meanwhile, tiaras in Norway for the French visit. King Harald is looking frail after his recent bout of ill-health (Sonja has also been ill but seems to look more healthy - not sure about the scarlet sash and purple dress combo, though). I like Mette-Marit’s elegant white dress, though it’s not a very evening-dress style. I love Princess Astrid’s ballet pumps with sparkly toes. Ingrid-Alexandra looks very elegant in a dress that could be va-va-voom, but she wears it very well.

Leti's hair and makeup are spot on. Nice green suit, but the trousers are too long and a little too baggy to have balanced the oversized blazer.

If the tiaras are out in Norway for the French, maybe that bodes well for tiaras when they come here 🤞🏻😆

That's a Vivienne Westwood corset dress on Ingrid so definitely more va va voom than we're used to seeing! She looks great.

I wonder if Harald will be the next monarch to abdicate? He's looking very frail these days. But given the recent scandals around Marius maybe he'll leave it a bit longer.

Theirs is quite the love story and has all the necessary elements for drama - girl meets boy but he's a prince, king opposes their marriage, prince gives king ultimatum etc etc!

I don't think there's ever been any hint of scandal about Harald and Sonja so it really does seem to be a happily ever after story.

Yes I think Harald has always been steadfast in his love for Sonja. I think their marriage being opposed by the then king made them vow to let their children marry for love no matter who they are. Which is how both their children have made somewhat unconventional royal marriages.
