I do like her hat though.

She and Mike always look so happy to be there! I am guessing Zara is a bit like her mum in wearing what she likes and not caring what other people think. I agree this is a rare miss for her from an outsider's POV, but she doesn't seem too bothered.

I really like Princess Anne's suit! I think the orange works beautifully with the straw/natural/beige. It's smart, but - to me - has definite ‘day off’ vibes because of the colour scheme. Tempted to see if I can create a similar effect for myself, in fact.

Full marks to the Queen for her green outfit too. I like green and I like that strong grass green, but too many people make the mistake of putting it with white, so I'm glad the Queen had the courage of her convictions and didn't dilute it. Not her best hat though - I agree that the crown is weird.

Alizee's dress looked really odd - not only the gingham but also another random pattern of white blobs (is it embroidery? flowers? polka dots?)

I think gingham can look OK but not as a whole outfit - it's why Diana's crop trousers look OK because she wore a plain colour jumper but if she'd worn a matching gingham blouse it would have not looked as good.

I wouldn't be surprised if she had it since the 70s as that mustardy yellow was a fashion colour-

I like her orange hat. I'd like to see that rewear. My sister once saw her in the BHS on High Street Kensington buying a £10 hat.

I really wish my weight had stayed the same throughout the years so I could rewear all my stuff!

I’m not keen on Sophie’s - it wears her rather than the other way around.
i’m not keen on Alizee’s - too much going on- collar, flounces, tiers, maxi, circles.
If her hair was darker she could pass for Pippa in that photo.
Zara not as good as she can sometimes look.
Carole M is ok.

Birgitte’s hat is lovely. Apparently it was created by one of the King’s foundation students. Sorry I can’t link anything at the moment!

I like Camilla in the green. It’s a nice summery shade. Sort of apple rather than emerald. I quite like Anne’s outfit. It suits her. It’s difficult to tell with Carol’s outfit because I’ve only seen a photo of her in that sort of hunched forward hurrying along position. William suits a top hat. In fact, I always think he looks good in a hat

ETA forgot to say I really like the pattern of Sophie’s dress but that neckline doesn’t work for me

Green is a nice change for Camilla.
My problem with Carole’s outfit is that the hat and the dress aren’t colour co-ordinated but neither are they a contrast. They’re different by a few shades which makes me wince.

Anyone got any decent pictures of lady Sarah Chatto? I only can find this one rubbish one. I normally like what she wears and she has a often wears selection of Princess Margaret’s jewellery to the races

And a Dutch round up. Not keen on Amelia’s dress, I’d forgotten she’d broken her wrist. I think her make up is lovely though.
Dont like Max’s rust coloured dress. I think it’s maybe too short or something. Also, can’t image wearing it to a factory/plant type environment. And that green horror! I loath tie dye and that dress is just awful. Sorry Max!
