Max looks like an extra from Up
Pompeii! In the brown (I’m going back a bit!)

Maireas · 18/06/2025 21:37

Well, Max is always ready to try a new look, isn't she? She's not one to stick a particular style or palette and she's given us much to talk about over the years! Not my favourite looks, but she rarely disappoints.

Max green dress from the back horribly unflattering. Not much better at the front. The orange reminds me of midsummer nights dream.

Poor Amalia, broken wrist ouchy.

Only this one of Sarah, courtesy of the Court Jeweller. Apparently she was wearing a pearl necklace and diamond and pearl earrings that were Princess Margaret’s.
Camilla was wearing diamond floral earrings, the Cambridge Emerald Cluster Brooch previously worn by Queen Elizabeth and a Cartier emerald and diamond Art Deco bracelet that was the Queen Mother’s.

Ooh yes. She is channelling her inner Lurcio 😂

Maireas · 18/06/2025 22:11

Charlene does look stunning, although I'm not sure about her hair like that. Albert is definitely looking trim.

That was 2022.

Eaumyword · 18/06/2025 22:39

Wow, Char looks stunning. I love her hair like that - very old Hollywood. Her gown is beautiful and a fab colour on her. If I was nitpicking, I don't like cold shoulder outfits, but overall she looks amazing.
The lady next to her is wearing a stunning gown - love it.

I love the emerald jewellery - a shame you can really see it against the bright green dress.

I agree that the shoulders make emphasize her swimmer's shoulders in a way that is not truly flattering - but I think the colour and general style is great

RomainingCalm · 18/06/2025 23:07

I love Sarah Chatto - she has such a distinctive style and rarely deviates from it. Her hat, cardigan and skirt always look pristine and she is instantly recognisable.

KiIIingMeDeftly · 19/06/2025 05:51

I think Charlene looks great, as do her swimmer's shoulders!

I agree
A beautiful, strong feature 💪

I'm an ex competitive swimmer and my DD currently is one. The negativity about the shoulders is unnecessary. We look great in halter necks!

You look fantastic 😍! Lets celebrate women's body types, whether from sport or otherwise.

Amalia looks beautiful there.
2 fails for Max, rust definitely too short - hits her legs in the wrong place - There is a sweet spot and that’s not it.
The lady next to Albert - beautiful gown. I’m not keen on Charlene’s hair or dress.
I love Sarah Chatto’s style, twin set and pearls, sort of Dior New Look era.
Carole Middleton isn’t wearing her rings. Does anyone else on here sometimes forget to put your rings on, realise in the car and hurry back in to the house to get them, switching off and back on burglar alarm to do so Blush

I love a strong shoulder. I have an aversion to cold shoulder tops (especially knitted polo neck ones - just why?), but witha good shoulder is the only time they ever look right

Cassiope · 19/06/2025 12:48

I don't like halterneck styles full stop, because they always look as if the woman is wearing a collar, like a dog. Although the draped layers in that one soften the look, they don't dispel the ‘ready for the leash’ impression and the daft pseudo-sleeves spoil the wearer’s silhouette.

Spag straps with those athletic shoulders would be a fab look though - the contrast of a flimsy dress (I'm thinking gauzy fabric) with a strong physique.

A halter neck doesn’t always have to have the dog collar bit at the top though. You could
have more of a v neck or a shirt style
collar. A high halter neck with a low back is a great way to highlight fab shoulders and back and can look very sexy. A change from cleavage

Zara looks stunning today at Ascot. Very chic.
Not keen on Camilla’s look .Its a bit bland
Beatrice - just no.
Sophie - haven’t seen a full length photo but looks quite fresh and summery

Loving Zara's look too. Camilla, I feel in need of a change.

gingercat02 · 19/06/2025 15:38

Love Sophie and Zara. I find the Queen quite nice but dull.

It's Sophie and Edwards wedding anniversary today.

RomainingCalm · 19/06/2025 15:41

Harriet wins for me again today - the yellow dress looks great on her - she's a welcome addition to Royal S&B as far as I'm concerned. No comment about Beatrice - maybe it would have been better for another occasion but the long sleeves and fabric don't work for me.

I'm a sucker for black and white and think Zara looks fab - best of the week for her so far.
