MM Replica Jazz club - it's lovely but boy oh boy it doesn't last long. If they had a longer lasting, stronger version I'd love it.

A trip to selfridges/ space nk

Got a bit nose blind after sniffing so many perfumes but tried the new glossier reve which is a fruity gourmand, with plum notes, and enjoyed. Also found turmeric latte in lush but its spicier than I remembered and has a strong peppery note that I wasn't keen on. Didn't really want to buy anything, was just testing stuff out.

Tried the new rare beauty edp which sounds from the scent profile like it would be up my street but it was too strong on the ginger which put me off.

I rarely buy from physical shops prefering to test in store and then buy online. Have had a bit of a frag buying binge lately so my wallet was safe ( until I got to john lewis and bought some jumpers.... but that's another story)

I tried Turmeric Latte in Lush yesterday and didn’t like it. Lasted all day too. To be honest I thought it smelled like a Yankee Candle! According to online reviews they’ve made it spicier this year.

@IDontHateRainbows I bought Glossier Reve when it launched. It's nice but I was a bit disappointed at the time as it didn't smell quite how I thought it would. I probably should wear it more as it's the full size bottle.

Ah, that will be why it didn't smell the same as I remembered. There is a really strong spicy note in there that I think spoils it. Very glad now I did not blind buy it online.

Same! I was tempted too.

Vol de Nuit today, because I was out spending money on frivolities (not perfume, I'm afraid).

What I did get a whiff of the other day which reminded me of turmeric latte, only far far nicer, is mystery tobacco by carolina herrera. Seriously eyeing up the 20ml spray now which is a really good size for me. I can't buy any more frag though, I just can't. Lost count of how many (mainly small) bottles and testers I've bought recently either through advent calendars, small sets or just buying individually. If I still want it in a month's time, maybe then.

Bedtime scent is Ambre Sultan by Serge Lutens. Never really got into this house. Got a set of small/tester bottles a while back and this was the only one i liked. It's a sweet but deep amber. The sweetness stops it being too intense. I do like a good amber.

Lira for me today. Look forward to Look Fantastic fragrance advent- due to arrive tomorrow, and Fragrance shop. I think this will also hopefully come early next week- and also seem to be sold out for now!

Maya Njie Vanilj today, which is a herby/ warm spicy take on vanilla. Can smell cardamom in there. Quite appropriate for this time of the year. Daughter approved when we did the sniff test.

from the perfume shop advent calendar, Narciso rodriguez for her intense. Wasn't sure about this one at first and had to put quite a bit on to really smell it (could be noseblind nose) but I'm quite liking it now. It's a fruity vanillary gournmand. Peach top notes. Not fb worthy but I'm quite enjoying the little dabber.

Perfume shop AC excellent value for money at £90 and I'll probably sell enough to make my money back as I'm not keeping the men's ones, plus a few of the ladies ones I already know I don't like.
There's my favourite in there - very good girl elixir - just as well as I had run out of the 30ml I bought in the summer.

Wore Delina today. I think you have to enjoy a rose scent to like this one but it's one of the best rose scents around. Lasts very well. I'm being stalked on FB by the PDM calendar. I would love that one as it has a 30ml Delina but cannot justify it after the numerous calendars I've bought recently. If it's still available in early November and I haven't bought Fenwick if they do a GWP, then I might think about it.

I looked to see if harrods had the PDM ac which would hopefully work with the 10% discount, but no such luck 😫

I can't remember if I like Delina, I really need to go check it out before the HN fragrance calendar release.

I've worn BDK gris Charnel again today, it really is becoming my autumn scent 😍

I love Delina and sent the PDM calendar to DH this morning, he replied with I have way too much fragrance already and he is not buying me an advent for Christmas 😬😬
Need to think of a plan B 😂

Do you think he will change his mind? My husband has already bought me a full bottle of the BDK gris Charnel, the lancome holiday set and the hourglass palette and brush, I really can't ask him for the PDM AC, can I?! 😕

I really don’t need the PDM calendar as I have several smaller bottles of Delina unopened and the hair perfume. But it’s such a thing of beauty. If I bought it that would be it for me this year. I need to see SNK frag before I decide.

That's a good point. I'd forgotten I was going to allow myself the SNK fragrance as an exception to my no more fragrance rule if I like it.

This rule is not going well.

I'm not a rose fan myself so no danger of ne being tempted by delina. I wish I was, roae being in so many things, but I just don't get it/ enjoy it as a note. I think cherry is becoming my favorite note.

Fleur narcotique is scent of the evening. Reminds me of amouage guidance and im becoming a fan of white floral. Not particularly seasonal as I do love my smoky spicy type scents around now. But it is a lovely scent.

I really want Amouage Guidance. I was looking at the Christmas sets that are in the Harrods Reward weekend but it is so expensive even with the 10%. Maybe next birthday.

Sniffing Main Character Alaia from look fantastic advent. I was certain that I will hate it but I don't, its lovely to smell. I am not sure I want others to smell me like this, its very herbal but I like smelling it and can't stop smelling the paper. I can't find any info for the brand

I wondered if this was one of the beauty box brands like Sentier but I did keep it because I thought it was really nice.

I was wondering about that one as couldn't find the scent profile on fragrantica.

Knowing my tastes (vanilla/spicy/smoky and not fresh/aquatic/zingy) do you think I would like it? I am trying not to spray it in case I can sell it on if it doesn't sound up my street.

2 scents today - I've rediscovered Kayali vanilla 28 which is one of the only Kayalis I really rate. Found a half used little bottle, wore this a lot last year. Combines well with Ganymede which was in the Harrods FC. Wasn't too sure aobut Ganymede but it's grown on me and I love saffron.

There's a few on Vinted for about £3. Without a 'name' behind it it's barely worth selling so I'd just try it.

I've worn Vanilla 28 a few times recently. It might be my favourite Kayali scent. I think it's one that has to sit for a while and turn dark brown to get the best from it.
