The next thread, royal style mavens! The title suggestion was from our last thread. Mary of Teck was never knowingly underdressed or less than bejewelled!

A very interesting choice of designer as said designer and family are in the news due to family “difficulties” with a son and daughter in law. Hmmmm !

She's worn VB before. I don't suppose it really says anything other than Catherine likes VB designs, they suit her figure perfectly, and David does a lot of work with the DoE awards or the King's Trust or something so there's a relationship of sorts with the RF.

Meghan has worn VB too.

She has worn Victoria Beckham before. Not often (a dress, sunglasses and a bag), but this is not the first time she’s worn the brand.

I know she’s worn VB before.

Oh is that all? I really thought it was more than that! Just goes to show how reliable my memory is.

Love Kate's outfit today but the trouser length is a no no as it makes people look like they're on stilts!

However apart from that I love VB designs.

I think Kate and her advisors would have been very aware that there would be speculation her wearing one of VBs designs would be seen as offering some sort of support.

And fair play to her.

Oh support of the Beckhams makes sense! They're quite friendly with them.

For some reason my mind went to support of the King... 😆 which is a stretch imo.

But who knows! It's possible, I guess.

Charles, Camilla and Beatrice are al out tonight at an event in Kew to benefit the elephant charity set up by Camilla’s brother, and they all look very nice. Love Bea’s dress, thought it looks like a day dress that grew, rather than a dress designed for evening wear. Camilla’s two piece suit is very elegant.

I like Camila's outfit, the design is lovely, and very appropriate for a warm evening. I don't like Beatrice's, it's very fussy and drowns her.

I love the colour and pattern of Beatrice's dress. I think even the length would've been fine without the ridiculously big sleeves/cuffs and belt which contribute to the oversized/far too big look.

It's Fred and Mary's 21st wedding anniversary today. Proof here that royals get it badly wrong sometimes...Madeleine is a rather extreme shade of tango.

I remember watching that wedding on TV. Fred had (happy) tears in his eyes as Mary entered the cathedral to, of course, "The Prince of Denmark's March".

They remind me of the lurid colours of Panda Pop 😆

I'm glad Madeleine has since stepped away from the spray tan!

I can highly recommend the Cartier exhibition at the V&A - it’s stunning. Two of my favourites: the Duchess of Gloucester’s Indian tiara, and Grace Kelly’s engagement ring and the convertible tiara/brooches she received as a wedding gift (the cabochon rubies just glowed!).
