Nars blusher. Heartbroken.

I love the Nars orgasm blusher. It takes me from looking as though I've been dug up to having a bit of shimmer and colour.

I've just gone to order a new one and according to John Lewis reviews the formula has changed and in the word of one reviewer 'don't waste your money'.

Has anyone ordered one in the past few months? Has it really changed?!

If so has anyone found a decent alternative.

Waaaahhhhh.... just checked the Boots site and loads of people saying the same so it seems as though it is true.

I shall need to find an alternative.

What's changed, the powder blush? Because they do it in loads of different formulae now. I like the big shimmer stick if that still exists.

PatChaunceysFruitCake · 11/02/2025 21:31

Yes, the powder blush in the rectangular case.

I bought a mini one from nars direct in January and the formula was the same as always, I definitely didn't notice a difference.

Stupid comment. You just made yourself look very silly.

I don’t care what you think. Using the word heartbroken over a blusher is ridiculous when others on here are going through so much.

mcmooberry · 11/02/2025 21:48

Baaad noooz. I often look like I died last week and now think I need one of those so following for advice and might order a mini one.

failingrocks · 11/02/2025 21:49

I ordered a new one a few weeks ago, but it will go in the bin as it is crap. Useless. Thought it was just me. Will never buy again, such waste of money.

Mrsgreen100 · 11/02/2025 21:49

Nars brand is well known in trade circles for underpaying their staff , 0 hours contracts etc
a girlfriend of my son , Worked for them central London , and paid two pounds under the living wage an hour .
so I’ve stopped buying anything from them the founder of the company calls his staff “his
Narrsists”
other brands have great products and look after their employees

savvy7 · 11/02/2025 21:51

Sleek blushers are great dupes for Nars

babymamalove · 11/02/2025 22:02

Noooo I love that blush

Why do skincare companies and makeup brands always do this?! It’s so infuriating, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!!

Lighten up.

It's a common expression used when someone is disappointed.

Chuchoter · 11/02/2025 22:08

Don't Aldi have a dupe a few years ago?

I'm sorry you wasted your money but thank you for sharing your experience. Going to give it a miss and try something new.

I haven't heard of those but they do look very similar on the Boots site. Thanks!
