Nars blusher. Heartbroken.

I love the Nars orgasm blusher. It takes me from looking as though I've been dug up to having a bit of shimmer and colour.

I've just gone to order a new one and according to John Lewis reviews the formula has changed and in the word of one reviewer 'don't waste your money'.

Has anyone ordered one in the past few months? Has it really changed?!

If so has anyone found a decent alternative.

I don’t care what you think. Using the word heartbroken over a blusher is ridiculous when others on here are going through so much.

Shall we do some competitive who has it worst posts?!

PatChaunceysFruitCake · 11/02/2025 22:16

Thank you to those who realise my heart is not, in a literal sense, broken in two. I'm just a bit disappointed that a product I've liked for a long time has changed. As @babymamalove says, it's annoying.

The sleek blushers look good... Google summary suggests Dior backstage rosy glow. The rosewood shade looks good for a ghostly complexion...?

Why not just hide the whole S&B topic if it offends you that much then!

Hmm Its style and beauty. Honestly!

Op am following in the hope someone can recommend a good alternative as I loved this blusher too! I don't get through it very fast, but when I do wear make up this was the best I had found.

For all you know the op could be dealing with all sorts of things and thinking about make up is a bit of a distraction.

I think the style and beauty space is allowed to be a space about, you know, style and beauty, without people being berated!

whereimfrom · 11/02/2025 22:24

I love this blush too after getting it in a look fantastic beauty box.

I'll be gutted when it runs out & so will my daughter as she uses it for her dance competitions

Ohyay · 11/02/2025 22:24

Im loving Iconic London blush stick in Cosmo.
Previous NARS Orgasmer.

I like Hourglass blushes, they also give a flattering glow. I sometimes use their liquid blush first and set it with a similar powder blush. Blush tends to evaporate from my face by midday otherwise.

I use the same shade. I noticed a slight difference (so i'm assuming my latest is the new batch - pic attached of my current one, slightly more shimmery, not as pink?), but it's still my favourite blusher!

My NARS lipstick arrivedfrom SoaceNk today - I'm gutted as it's not the shade I was expecting - yes they have sent what I ordered but it's not the same as the small NARS lipstick I had from a Christmas thing which was just perfect for me - I thought I had written share name down correctly too - myst be my age

Lostmyusernametoday · 11/02/2025 23:00

Charlotte tilbury for the win OP

Corknut · 11/02/2025 23:06

Another vote for hourglass! Always get compliments and I’ve tried them all. Dior glow also good - old organs fan here too

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 11/02/2025 23:09

I found Orgasm too glittery, despite it being heralded as suiting everyone, but agree with pp about Hourglass being great.

Totally different vibe, but if I could only have one blush product I would choose Glossier Cloud Paint in Puff. I would be heartbroken if they discontinued that 😂

crackfoxy · 11/02/2025 23:11

My DD got. Lovely Rhode one the other day, I'll try and link it

CantBegin · 11/02/2025 23:11

Yes, it’s true I’m afraid. I ordered from John Lewis, thought they’d sent the wrong shade, but no, it’s definitely right but literally colourless and useless 🙁 I’ll be investigating alternatives too…

I bought some under eye concealer that was shit, it didn't even used to be good like this blusher, it's just always been shit

sankacoolrunnings · 11/02/2025 23:17

Try EBay - for new ones but old style.
My foundation got discontinued and I have been bulk buying off there!

MyFlightWasAwfulThanksForAsking · 11/02/2025 23:19

Opened the thread to see if Heartbroken was the actual name of the blusher or if someone was being a tad dramatic. I was not disappointed. Grin

AlwaysTheRenegade · 11/02/2025 23:26

I bought the orgasm blush and thought I'd got a fake (new from vinted), so shimmery! Lancome blush subtil always used to be good.

So many terrible things happening in the world yet here you are, scrolling in boredom on your phone picking fights with strangers on the internet.
