For me it was a product I didn’t want to like as it’s very pricey and I had thought over the years it was just a gimmick. Plus I had a really good skincare routine before I started using them (essence, HA serum, vit C, peptide cream, SPF, tretinoin, acid actives etc) and I didn’t really see that I could get much more positive effect than with what I was already using.
But wow, these little capsules (god they’re fiddly and annoying) of Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide oil/serum have massively improved my skin just adding it in as an additional layer after my other serums and before my peptide cream. My crepey under eye skin has completely smoothed out and fine lines on my forehead have gone. My skin tone looks more even and skin looks plumper definitely. I’m also less oily throughout the day. I’m gobsmacked given that it’s such a small amount in the capsule.
Only downside is now I have to find the money to include them in my routine ongoing!

What have you found recently that has been an absolute game changer?

How much collagen are people taking? I aim for 15g a day (as recommended by Dr Gabrielle Lyons) which is 3 scoops of the one I buy. I mix it in with protein shakes, porridge, Greek yoghurt, or just add it to tea.

I've noticed improvement in nails and joints, but not so much skin and hair tbh.

Interested in this. How long does it take to see/feel an impact? I've been taking 20g daily since Christmas and don't think it's having any noticeable impact yet.

I’ve been taking 5g daily of Ancient and Brave collagen for years now, the bovine. I found it had a pretty quick impact on my bad knees and I feel it if I miss a day, especially in winter.

Just to say thanks to whoever it was on this thread who recommended murad oil and pore control - I bought some and feel like it's the moisturiser I've been looking for my whole life!

My Wow beauty find is Color Wow Root coverup.
It's a powder you brush on to your grey roots.
I find it great.

Me too. Have been using it for years and gets me through the last week before I get my roots done. I find it best applied on damp hair before drying.

Anyone use the Jones Road foundation here?

I have. I really like the consistency on my skin. It’s like your skin but better.

My Fine, thinning, menopausal hair has responded well to Act + Acre stem cell shampoo and Hair Gain hair mask.

Came back to say rosemary oil has been amazing on my oily roots. Massage it in and leave for an hour or so, or overnight. Wash off in the morning. Can now leave for 4 or five days between washes.

Good idea. I'll try that next time I'm near a big beauty department.

I saw them in TK Maxx around Christmastime! In UK.
