@ScottishMouse did you try the cotton cashmere from about 2 years back? They look so similar. I was a super fan and got the dress, trousers and shirt! I want these new trousers but seems like they are so similar to the previous ones to be allowed both? Also, what’s the sizing like?

@IlovePond i also tried the green version of the dress and it looked terrible. The top fitted ok (I got the 12, I am a high st 14) but it was massive on the waist and rest of the skirt and made me look very small and wide. Shame as I like the fabric!

Hmmmm, I think I might have @Snowyowl78. Is the dress collarless though? If so, then I think this is a different shape - it has a collar and a dropped waist, and is looser in the body than other Toast shirt dresses I have or have The cotton cashmere fabric is so lovely.

@ScottishMouse the old one has a collar and a dropped waist too, I might try out the trousers though. Do you follow Angharad Jones? She has the trousers and lots of other Toast stuff that she styles a lot. I love her style.

Ah ok, I don’t remember it then @Snowyowl78 sorry. Size wise, I bought M which seems to be my most usual Toast size lately in tops & dresses, and it is roomy, roomier than other dresses I have, but that means I could layer something underneath if I wanted to.
Yes, I do follow Angharad Jones, love her style.

So my swag arrived

• Jessie dungarees in black. I love them, they're keepers.
• Twill trousers in green, these are a bit barrel shaped which I love, and a perfect fit but too lightweight for winter. I'll keep for spring/summer/autumn.
• Cotton sweater in Parchment. This is big on me, but Iovely for a thrower. I'll use it a lot.
• Loop back sweatshirt in Puck a deep dark turquoise. Again a summer or transitional piece weight but perfect.

I echo what others have said. I love what I've bought, but they're selling summer weight clothes in winter and that's quite naughty really. Having said that I've noticed Cos were doing exactly that too in their very short winter sale that has just ended.

I’m 5 ft 7 too and agree about the length but I find it looks much better somehow when worn with my long black boots.

I bought a size down as I've lost a few pounds and it's quite flattering. Slightly swingy, cut on an A-line but quite short. Great with high rise jeans/trousers.

Last year more items were added to the sale on January 2nd. Just sayin’….

I sent my returns back a couple of days ago.

So happy with my choices.

Last year I got the email for additional sale items at 7pm. They would probably be visible earlier in the afternoon though.

My 4(!) orders are all on their way now, but I am feeling over the sale now. There are a couple of items I would like to see added, but otherwise I won’t be ordering any more (and will probably be returning a large chunk of what is on their way).

Im now debating whether to order the matching trousers.
The dress is quite long so not sure how the trousers will work.

@Nanasueathome Ooh lovely! How are you finding the wrappiness around bust/waist/hips? The reviews all say contradictory things about sizing up or not, but without any clues as to their body shape!
