Toasties - still loving the knitwear and the chat!

I have set up a new Toastie thread, guys.

@roobyred I think it might have been @faustina that talked about the knitwear. I am not sure what the position would be re customs now after Brexit.

@roobyred - yes, like @Stoic123 - we both custom ordered from Donegal Knitwear. If you don't do a custom order you'll get a more traditional shape. The website had the exact measurements of all the sizes - it was very useful, and the customer service was really good. I put one of my toast jumpers on my bed, measured it, and based my custom order on that and I was extremely pleased with the result! I don't think there were any extra duties to pay, but you can check with their cs

@ScottishMouse - that dress is perfect on you, and I love your minako trousers! I was wearing mine today too!

They are excellent trousers @faustina and I think will work pretty much year round for me.

@ScottishMouse - yes! I hope you will try the indigo twill fabric too - it's so unusual!

@ScottishMouse that dress is lovely, is it the cotton and cashmere one? It's exactly the length I would like it on myself but I'm too tall.

So I might actually keep the hat, I'm going to hold on to it for another week to decide. The other sale stuff is going back though. Odd items for me this time, the heimat hat (too bulky but in essence very lovely and well made) a long dyed cotton top that was for my partner but he says he looks like he's wearing my clothes (hah) and the tabletop brush. The brush itself is great but the scoop bit I presume is useless, as the lip is way too thick for any sweep action.

There's something about that black check that makes it a chic neutral, seems to go with everything. Suggests off duty architect in a good way.

Yes, it is the cotton cashmere one @mizu. I am only 5’2” and wish it were a little shorter on me, but not enough that I can be bothered actually taking it up 😆

@ScottishMouse oh if it were that length on me, I'd never take it off! I'm 5' 7" so it was a weird length on me when I tried it on, sort of midi but not.

@hicat - haha - that tabletop brush and dustpan is a bit too artisinal isn't it? Though I guess you could sweep it off the table into the pan?

What a shame @mizu. Unusually for Toast, it has a very stingy hem, so nothing much to take down for you.

@ScottishMouse both of those outfits are gorgeous, especially the Minako trousers - they're beautiful.
