What is the ultimate mascara? Humour me and tell me which one you would choose of the millions out there.

Maybelline sky high
or if you want fancy but does the same job the Hourglass tubing mascara is very similar - it’s more pricey but removes more easily

PennyPugwash · 10/12/2024 20:25

Lancome hypnose drama or Dolce Gabanna

SideEyeSally · 10/12/2024 20:26

Hmm I have a few thoughts. Lancome ones are generally great across the board. I also love the red double ended one from loreal which is a tubing formula but its a bit of a dick to get off so I don't wear all the time cause I feel it thins my lashes if worn/removed daily. I did wear for my wedding though. The Heroine mascara from various K beauty sites is another brilliant one. In general I go for a high end but in the travel size so I actually do bin it within 3-6 months this tends to cost roughly the same as a full size drug store version I'll end up giving myself conjunctivitis with.

Surratt or Estée Lauder

Wegovypictures · 10/12/2024 20:39

Victoria beckham tubing. I went to this after Estee and Maybeline recommendations let me down

Screamingabdabz · 10/12/2024 20:42

Lancôme Hypnose volume.

I’ve been using benefit mascara for the last few years, “bad gal bang” and “rolller lash” are my favourites, about £26 each

Comedycook · 10/12/2024 20:44

Another vote for lancome hypnose drama

MarchingInto2025 · 10/12/2024 20:46

Used to only use benefit bad gal but swapped a couple of years ago to hourglass tubing. It's the tubing part that makes it worth it for me, so much easier to remove because I don't really wear any other make up so using just warm water and not needing wipes etc is brilliant. But the look of the lashes is also great, no clumps just lovely thick looking lashes.

Sunny2907 · 10/12/2024 20:58

Triple Threat Mascara from Iconic London

Seroi · 10/12/2024 20:59

Lancome Hypnose Drama from me too. I've tried so many and always come back to this.

Purplecatshopaholic · 10/12/2024 21:00

Push Up Lashes from Charlotte Tilbury - best ever.

Bigtitsbettyforgotherpassword · 10/12/2024 21:00

I hate tubing mascara. I used to use Lancôme drama and then the non tubing Hourglass one. Last mascara I bought was by Rare beauty. It’s amazing.

HollyGolightly4 · 10/12/2024 21:02

Maybelline sky high.

Have a real hatred for Charlotte Tilbury which flaked so badly someone thought I had a black eye!

KitsyWitsy · 10/12/2024 21:04

I use Chanel and it’s decent but might try the Lancôme one after reading this thread!

StripyDog · 10/12/2024 21:05

After much testing on my part - high end Lancôme Hypnose, high street L’Oréal Lash Paradise.

I think I’ve tried every other mascara in the land and these are my favourites.

Edited

If one is a tubing mascara and the other isn't then they aren't anything alike

PetronellaBridgerton · 10/12/2024 21:06

Dior Show has been my favourite for years. I’m tempted to try the Lancôme this time though for a little variation.

Fabulouslyunfabulous · 10/12/2024 21:08

Dior iconic over curl, looks like you’ve had a lash lift.

HollyGolightly4 · 10/12/2024 21:12

What's a tubing mascara (or not?!)

Fumnudge · 10/12/2024 21:14

Chanel Noir Allure is amazing, Lancôme for everyday.

fullmoonstars · 10/12/2024 21:17

Lancôme Hypnose volume a porter

chillycat · 10/12/2024 21:21

I always go back to Lancôme (any of them) and Sisley (the one with the comb style brush) for more dramatic look
