I couldn't see a new thread so I'm starting one!

My 10ml Penhaligon's Elisabethan Rose came yesterday - thought I would order a smaller size first before splashing out on a bigger bottle.

It is so, so lovely! Like a rich but fresh and fruity but creamy smell.

Bdk 312saint honore today. It's a perfect blend of sweet, deep and slightly spicy.

I really like BDK myself @IDontHateRainbows .

Gris Charnel Rouge Smoking and Creme de Cuir firm favorites.
Velvet Tonka and St Honore also good
Pas ce Soir, bouquet de hongrie and Tubereuse imperial so-so

Nothing I've hated from this house

Interesting how different we all are. I love BDK Gris Charnel, but have not been particularly keen on any of the rest.

I’ve paused my testing for a couple of days to wear some favourites. Yesterday was Chanel Misia - my favourite violet/rose “lipstick” scent, and today is Tauer’s LADDM, still very beautiful, unique and different to almost everything else I own.

I’ve never tried any BDK but discovered a sample of Pas Ce Soir in my sample tin, so will give it a try soon.

Tried Goldfield & Banks Silky Woods today. Really liked it, lovely blend of warm spices and sweetness, but not too sweet. Will enjoy using up the sample. Then this evening I went for Phlur Vanilla Skin. Pretty straightforward vanilla, but nice enough for an evening at home.

I like Gris Charnel, Bouquet de Hungarie and Leather Vanille best.

Kayali vanilla rock candy sugar for a home day. Wouldn't wear this out but something fun to try at home. As with most kayali scents, tooth achingly sweet. Won't repurchase any from the discovery set except the vanilla 28 but I've enjoyed trying. Except for the lychee one.. that is weirdly fizzy. Think there's two I haven't tried yet.

I'm going for one scent on one hand and one on the other as I have so many!

Left hand: TF Tobacco Vanille, again. Something about this. At first it's overpoweringly strong on the tobacco and I think 'why did I ever like this' then it settles down into the vanilla and I think 'ah i remember why!'

Right hand; Maison Margiela Coffee Break. Ridiculously weak, can barely smell it. And it's not my nose blindness, my daughter said she could barely smell it too. She's a perfumista-in-training, we smell/rate the samples together. Although she's more into the sol de janeiro body sprays. Anyway she did not rate this one. She thought the Tobacco Vanille was '7 out of 10'

4160s Absolute Filth today. Should be Catch The Bear but I found it even nastier than Shadowed Veil so decided to give it a miss. @SabrinaPrune I think you're right about it being coriander, but it still irresistibly reminds me of vomit!

Has anyone tried/ used/ can rate the Maison Francis Kurdjian perfumes?

I tried a sample of gentle fluidity gold and liked it.
They have a discovery box out at the moment which I'm eyeing up.

I think bacarrat rouge is a well known one from this house?

Sotd is Penhaligons Cairo. Which funnily enough does smell to me like Cairo!

Evening scent D&G devotion.

Lemony but in a sweet dessert way

4160T's S(Layer) today. Described as a skin scent, which it is, it's perfectly inoffensive. Bit sweet for me, slightly lemony, just not exciting.

Rouge smoking extrait for me today. Lovely deep scent.

Sprayed myself liberally with Aesop Marrakesh extrait in town. Big sandalwood vibes and very large sillage. Assistants were lovely, no perfum samples but a very expensive discovery set.

I have Aesop discovery set and I like every scent in it, but as candle not as perfume. They all have expensive spa vibe to my nose

I used a sample of the Laura Mercier amber vanilla body cream. It is very nice, absorbed well and wasn't sticky. DD sniffed my arm and said I smelled like Sol de Janeiro 62!

The Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille cream is very nice. I got some in the set with the rollerball and the body oil, I prefer the body oil to the cream but the scent is lovely.

I'm wearing a dupe of Mojave Ghost today -Alt Fragrances Desert Phantom. Not usually a dupe fan and I nearly cancelled my order after hearing that all the reviews are fakes -had some bad dupe experiences in the past - but this one is suprisingly ok. Not quite as good as the OG but definitely passable. I think I may have to bite the bullet and buy the bottle of MG Absolu at some point as it's the one scent I keep hankering over. It's more of a spring scent so I'll see how much I still want it when spring arrives

No fragrance today however a family member recently got back from the states and bought me the viral eos body lotion in vanilla cashmere and it smells soooo good. Definitely one for the gourmand lovers. I smell like a cookie gutted they aren't available in the uk, except grossly overpriced online.

Matiere premiere crystal saffron today which is lovely. Sweet and spicy, but quite different to BDK style. These are cleaner, less blended scents.

Black Lotus. Still on me from 5 am! Floral Street. I had to google it to remember the blasted make!

Roja Elysium. I am really shocked how early 2000s designer vibe it gives. I am not too impressed by harrods advent, literally one 10ml I acually like

Cool Water today. The 4160s Invite Me In did nothing for me. Billed as a dark rose, I could get the rose, but the "dark" translated to my nose as "stale ashtray". Smells like a woman who's sprayed on rose perfume to hide the cigarette she's just had.
