I've been so pleased so far with this calendar! The only one so far I'm not that into was day 1.

The cream cleanser is slightly too perfumed for me but still lovely. I've found other medic8 products to be slightly too harsh for my skin so haven't tried the serum just yet.

It's my work Xmas party this evening so have used the leave in conditioner and have the cream blush and highlighter in my make up bag to apply later - very excited!

I love a cream blusher.

I don’t like the look of the shade of the cream blusher but I’ll give it a go! I like some of the chantecaille stuff I’ve tried in the past, if I don’t like it I will pass it on to a dd. Not interested in the highlighter, don’t really bother with it these days - dd2 has already taken that one off my hands.

Another one who is very happy with todays offering, and the calendar so far!

Lots of brands I haven’t tried before and the full sizes really feel like I’m getting great value for my money. Really pleased I chose this calendar x

The Chantecaille blusher costs £45!

I am off work today and have had a Space NK pamper morning!

I used the hair mask thing and my hair feels lovely and swooshy now. I washed my face with my new face wash from the other day and put the serum on which feels lovely, I just used today's cream blusher too and it's actually really good. Adds a subtle colour if you only use a small bit. I've also put on the lip balm from the calendar too, I'm a walking Space NK advert!!

I'm loving it so far and had no idea we would get some double days so I'm really glad I chose this one! ☺️

It’s been a great product week - started off very strong and very pleased with double drawer today
ive used chantecaille eyeshadow in the past and the colour pay off was always good so excited to try the blusher

Although they aren't products that I would have bought, I love that the calendar is well thought out in that it's varied between makeup/hair/beauty, and it's building a routine that works together.

I probably wont use either item today, I'll sell the blush most likely as I don't want to fall in love with such an expensive product, and gift the highlighter to my DD.

I love a cream blush but I'm not sure the colour will suit (I tend to go for peachy-er shades) - will try later. I won't use the highlighter and have added to the 'sell or swap' pile.

I also had the La Mer lipgloss as an extra today which I wanted from the Harrods AC I missed out on

I’m away this weekend so pulled out the next three boxes as to take with me before opening today’s - then spent several minutes trying to remember which was number 6 and which was 9!

I only got the highlighter which DD took.

My first dod. I still have one from the advent calendar 2/3 years ago so I think I'll regift this.

I use today’s item every day so something I would have been buying anyway, I already have a spare but i’ll keep hold of it because it will definitely get used.
Boring though!

Today’s is definitely a bit of a meh item. It will get used but I wouldn’t normally buy this brand suncream after trying one of theirs before and not being all that keen. However it is full sized and I believe the last product I had from them was from the Cult beauty advent a few years back and that was a piddly little travel size. So I’ll give Space NK credit for that!

I have an SPF open at the moment, so will keep this one for next summer. I’m happy with it. It’s more practical than something like highlighter for me

Is this a sunscreen?? It will be handy for me as I'm going on holiday in a few months and it's a handbag size. Not overly exciting but I think I'll use it!

I was a bit “meh” today, my daughter was over the moon with it though and has taken it off my hands!

I’m a bit late to the thread so hi everyone!

I was a bit underwhelmed with this too, although I will use it and, as @BloodyWolves said, the one in the CB calendar last year was a tiny size so it’s good to have the full size version.

I used the Skinrocks cleanser yesterday although I have a few cleansers still on the go at the moment. It’s really nice - I’m not a big fan of Caroline H as, whilst she knows her stuff, she’s a bit outspoken for my liking. But the cleanser is good!

I’m going to give the blusher a try today and am looking forward to that. The only DOD for me was day 1 with the Rio de J scent. I’ve also had another in my LF calendar, so may sell the two together.

The first week has been a good one though!

would you trust this as your actual spf in summer, like wandering about town and that?

or do you need a sunscreen on top?

Bit late to the convo but can someone explain the double gifts? I got both the lip balm and glass the other day but only the blush today (no highlighter). Is it just random?

liking most of it so far - not convinced by the lip balm - think it’s a bit drying? But like the glass.

You should have had two double drawers by now - the lip balm and lip oil together, and the blush and highlighter together, so it sounds like you’re missing a product.

I too am a bit meh about the Supergoop sunscreen, it's not my favourite, the Ultra Violette Supreme Screen is my HG. The only thing I will say about the Supergoop is that it is a sunscreen and primer combined and it does work well under make up - better than some others I've tried. I wouldn't trust an SPF 30 in summer but for winter work days under office makeup it's not a bad option.
