It is one sleep away! We’ve all been very patient, since Liberty London revealed their advent calendar in June this year.

Sorting out my box of goodies and I managed to drop the Ex Nihlio Fleur Narcotique perfume and the very thin glass bottle has smashed, whilst it was still in the box. It smelled very good though!

I did the same, v thin bottle. Liberty replaced it though, within a day or reporting it!

I tidied away all the Christmas decor today, and I agree the Ex Nihlio Fleur Narcotique vial is very fragile. I’ve stored it separately to all the other fragrance samples I have.

I used the Ouai Detox shampoo today and the Sam McKnight Deeper Love hair mask. Both are such small sizes! I think I’ll get two, maybe three, uses out of them and my hair isn’t even at my shoulders. I liked the shampoo, it did what it says on the tin. I prefer a thicker hair mask, this felt like a conditioner. I’ll see how my hair feels in the morning. Having a lot of the post partum hair loss at the moment.

There’s still so much stuff I haven’t tried like the lip volumiser, the MZ eye cream, Aromatherapy Associates shower gel, I think I’ll have new things to try up until July when the next one is announced! I think with the threads on here it’s so easy to get caught up in the criticism and analysing the value - which I do think is important to keep these companies accountable, like the F&M wasn’t that great this year. I really enjoyed the calendar and had the joy of using things and trying new things. I’m even coming around to the rose smell of the Dr Sebagh Rose De Vie serum!

DH said “I guess you’ll want another next year then” whilst we were tidying away . I’m not sure! Did anyone get one of the £1000 Liberty vouchers in their AC this year? Or do you know anyone who found one?

@Bumblebeehum I contacted Liberty and they sent the Ex Nihlio Fleur Narcotique perfume out which was good of them as it was my fault. This one has been put away to use once I have finished up the 2 I have opened from the Harrods Fragrance.

I think I’ll definitely get one this year, I loved it! I started an advent calendar swap thread but doesn’t seem to be much interest so if you’re all ok, I thought I’d see if anyone fancies swapping here.

I’m keen to swap any of the perfumes- only had a spray of each and not opened the Bibi.
also the pillow mist and hair oil.

I was also gifted a couple of items from
the JL calendar and looking to swap the Votary radiance reveal mask, then I have a QMS epicentre pollution rescue overnight mask 75ml ( this was in a beauty box)

i’m really loving the ren eye cream and bought some more good genes and the rose serum on Vinted but always happy for more! Also up for other ideas!!

I have started to use a few pieces from the calendar and really like the Wild Source cleansing melt, would anyone know of a dupe for it?
If not I might have to buy some up from eBay.

Hi @Isabelle70 came back to find some info for @mrsbnow12 just seen your post. Hope you had a good year, what AC did you go for?

I liked the wild source cleansing melt balm too I felt like it was a true single cleanse. There wasn’t a trace of makeup left after I rinsed with water, didn’t show anything on white flannel. Funnily enough I finished using it this week and have been looking at the ingredients so can judge dupes. It reminded me of body shop cleansing balm but the ingredients don’t look too similar. Not so helpful

@BakeOffRewatch hello, a good year thanks and managed to use other cleansers over the year. I went for Harrods BAC and really enjoying it so far only one DoD! But I do miss the Liberty box, I feel it’s the best looking.

I think I will buy the liberty blind next year. Which I see I wrote this time last year 😂 and then started the 10 thread BAC discussion.

It’s a thumbs up from me today. I love Verden products and I love anything that promotes sleep. I’ll be trying this later alongside my magnesium gummies as my bedtime routine. If anyone needs a recommendation for a pillow spray I’d highly recommend the ‘This works deep pillow spray’.
