It is one sleep away! We’ve all been very patient, since Liberty London revealed their advent calendar in June this year.

Reveals from 7am GMT each morning please. This is to harmonise discussion/shift work/different time zones.

Oooh it’s a posh one!

I was so excited to see Byredo packaging this morning but I just don’t wear lipstick… absolutely gutted as it’s one of my fave brands 😭😭😭

It’s not a colour I would normally pick… quite bold for me but I know they can’t please everyone with colours. It’s a shame there’s not an option to pop instore and swap colours 😂

I'm super happy with today's really lovely luxe feeling product the case is beautiful. I think the colour looks okay for me looking forward to trying once I make it out of my pj's and get ready!!

A beautiful product but a DOD for me. I never wear red lipstick. It just looks awful on me. I have a dear friend who will love it though

Oh! I thought it was perfume! Was in a hurry to leave the house for work so didn’t have time to inspect too closely, but was happy to have a new scent to add to my stash 😂

The Red and Blue shade for me (there was a choice of 3) so.pleased. I love a blue note bold red. Packaging so luxurious.

@Biscuitburglar - me too! I just opened the drawer and assumed perfume.

Will have a proper look in a minute. And of course I actually bought a red lipstick yesterday! More of a soft red though.

Ooh, it’s a beauty! I love the packaging too! I got reunion which is less of a red, I’d be happy to swap for a red if anyone wanted?

Have just had another look. It’s lovely. Feels very luxurious just holding the container. There is a few on EBay I noted.

@Waffles21 - I got Red & Blue but actually it’s definitely more suited to me than the Reunion which looks more orange toned. Just annoyed I bought a Chantecaille one yesterday!

Same! I’ve only just looked again (hadn’t actually opened it yet as have massive stash of perfume) and realised it’s lippie 😂

Delurking to skip around the room. Love this lipstick- so luxurious. I got the red too- I like a red lipstick but don’t wear them as often as I should.

I got Reunion, which I'm really happy with. Seems to be a nice shade.

I’m a regular red lipstick person but got reunion and actually quite like it!

I can’t remember whether it was last year or the year before that we had this and can’t recall which shade I had but I think I wore it once.

I really wanted this! I’m dancing too @Resetthegame . It’s one of those things I love but never buy for myself now, I never go anywhere so what’s the point! I was hoping to have Red and Blue, which is scarlet, as that’s my perfect shade. I’ve received Reunion, which is more brown and I’m happy with that actually as I’ve never had a brown posh lipstick. In my head it’s too boring to be spent on, so I go for more vibrant shades. The Red Armchair is more postbox or fire engine red which doesn’t suit me but it is perfect Christmas colour.

Thanks for the hair mask tips @Wherethewildthingsfart and @narniabusiness - I think I’ve got a few more years before I can sit in bed peacefully with a tea. Do you rinse it off by holding your head over the bath or get in the shower again? I’d get water everywhere I think. Though I could use a jug of water to rinse like I do with the kids. Last night I used the Maria Nila shampoo and conditioner we received in the Liberty Beauty Drop, I really like those they are very light. Look forward to trying the PK after I finish those.

So half way, these are the things that have made it upstairs from the AC and are in regular use for me:
Day 5 ren eye cream £49, proper full size

Then there’s things like the Dr Sebagh serum which I’ll probably use next winter, Votary acid that I’ll use. So I’ll have got my value from the AC, having paid £240. I’ve already forgotten about things like perfume, candles and shower oil though. I always find it difficult to judge ACs and kits as I look at the things I don’t want and think “that’s not worth it!”. So really glad to see that the stuff I knew I wanted plus stuff I hadn’t tried is already adding up.

Oh the reason I put the 15% off value is that I rarely buy full price. Either during a Liberty Loyalty promo where they do 10-15% off on beauty or I can always find a Cult Beauty code for 10-20%.

I got red & blue and I’m not sure I’ll ever wear it. I did try it and it feels lovely on but I’d be so self conscious. Maybe I just need to go for it & wear it!

@emmab16 - I read a tip to just pat it on with your finger and then put a clear gloss over it so it’s more of a lip stain rather than bright red lipstick if you know what I mean.

Ooh I didn't realise there were different colours - I got reunion which is perfect as I'm not really a red lipstick person. Having worn it all morning it is quite matte and a little bit drying - better with a gloss or balm on top as PP said. The packaging is beyond gorgeous though! Will absolutely be coming out with me on my works Christmas lunch next week!

@BakeOffRewatch I also love Maria Nila shampoo and conditioner from the drop. Re hair mask, I rinse over the bath.

Hi, I’ve been lurking - it’s my first time having a beauty advent calendar, which I was gifted by my lovely Mum. I’m loving it; I’ve discovered so many new things that I’d never have tried (or been able to afford!) otherwise! And the tips on here have been brilliant, thank you everyone, particularly @BakeOffRewatch
I received Red Armchair today, so here’s a pic. I wouldn’t usually wear such a bold colour, but it IS Christmas!

Red + blue which is also on my lips 😊
