So I've been dark dark for a decade. New start new me etc promoted me to reach for the bleach....chicken wine might have been involved. I feel so not me. Do I keep it or go back to the dark side. I feel like I look like a golden retriever but not in a good way.

I think it looks very natural and suits you.
The dark looks good too!

Crankyaboutfood · 19/11/2024 19:30

you look beautiful both ways. why not wait a little longer and see if you get used to it. it’s a big change. if you look lovely.

teatoast8 · 19/11/2024 19:30

I like it! X

BeatriceAndLottie · 19/11/2024 19:30

Oh my goodness OP the ginger is gorgeous!! You suit it really well, I think it’s just a bit of a shock to the system. I felt the same way when I went copper last year - ended up absolutely loving it though and had so many compliments. Give it a few weeks and you’ll get used to it.

cathyburke · 19/11/2024 19:31

I think you look amazing OP! Really suits you! It will take a couple of weeks to get used to, but I think you should keep it!

username358 · 19/11/2024 19:31

Do whatever makes you feel comfortable. If you don't like your current colour then dye it darker. Your previous colour was too dark IMO but that could be the photo.

I feel like I need to change my make up and colour of clothes. Funny how unsteady a hair colour can make you isn't it.

Thank you. I was feeling like i was getting to old for it if I'm honest. Not felt fully comfortable for a while but you kind of stick to what you know if you know what I mean.

Love the ginger, looks more natural than the dark which ( no offence intended) looks quite harsh so more aging

Error404pagenotfound · 19/11/2024 19:35

I love it! It’s much softer than the dark hair and really makes your eyes pop and your skin glow.

I was feeling like it wasn't doing me any favours age wise. Was feeling a bit like them mad old women you see waiting for the bus with really fake black hair age 79.

Yep! I had a bit of a crisis for the first 6 weeks but grew to love it. Bought a lot of navy/royal blue clothes, they compliment ginger really nicely. Honestly I think that it’s beautiful, looks so natural and suits your skin tone + eyes so well. Suits you far better than the dark. You’d be mad to get rid of it - the hairdresser has done a wonderful job. It’s really difficult to make ginger hair dye look as natural as yours x

DandyTealSeal · 19/11/2024 19:38

I love the ginger, it suits you. You look like a different person. Nothing wrong with the brown but ginger defo better.

FuckoffeeBeforeCoffee · 19/11/2024 19:38

Genuinely looks much better.

The dark brown is too harsh.

@Redlarge to be honest the red looks more natural on you and really does suit you. Makes you look a bit younger imo
