We still have 2 months to go so there's still time for dilemmas, decisions and discounts.

We have a few coming out this week including John Lewis, OK and No7. I'm still WAC (without advent calendar) but that may soon change!

Two beauty boxes at JL - £49 each

dithering about the JL pamper box. Curiously it mentions a 9ml AA Bath oil in the description but it’s not pictured? They are small sizes but I do like the look of it.

Is this the best thread to be following for good deals for skincare? Gutted I missed out on the Space NK advent, considering the M&S one as a consolation prize!

@OkyDoke There are still lots of calendars available at a similar price point and quality to Space NK. Look at this list, Best Beauty Advent Calendar 2024 - Space NK, Cult Beauty you might like Sephora or F&M or Liberty or John Lewis, and I'm pretty sure they're all still available. I'd look at them instead of the things you currently have in your basket.

How are you finding the John Lewis pamper box on the App? I’ve tried numerous search descriptions and the best I’m getting is the sold out Mothers Day edit!

There was a brilliant SR Kit on Daily Deal about 2 weeks ago. £60 including a really nice make up case. Unfortunately the best deals are only up for a day so you do have to remember to check regularly.

The John Lewis boxes are quite good for the price. It's hard to find a decent men's box so I'm not surprised that sold out quickly.

JL all sold out, dang and blast! Why don't they stock more of these things?

I know John Lewis is so annoying their boxes sell out incredibly quickly not good for people like me who need to muse about whether I need it for a good few hours before committing (least they saved us some money!)

You have to go to rewards on the app. Surprised it's sold out so soon given so hard to find, did they email rewards members? My spam filter probably filtered it out of my inbox

Anyone know if the Harvey Nicks Fragrance calendar is in stock in store in London yet? Am in London today for work and wandering whether it is worth a trip to the store later.

I know this whole “drops” and “limited availability” approach is likely meant to drum up interest but it has the opposite effect on me. It makes me think there’s no point trying as I don’t have the patience.

I am a JL rewards member and got an email around 10.30am but they sold out literally about an hour later. I must admit they looked good but quite a lot of small sizes (well that's what I am telling myself now as I dithered too long and didn't buy it!)

The cynical part of me thinks it's to get people to stop spam filtering their emails so they can market us more shite!

I'm actually looking at the contents now thinking I might have bought on impulse, but it's not necessarily stuff I do want. So they've probably done me a favour. I'll spend my money elsewhere!

I actually quite proud of myself that I looked and didn't try to buy even for 49.99.
